I recently visited Popeyes in college park it gets busy here but I was here early and no long wait. and tried the honey lemon pepper combo along with a fish sandwich, and the entire meal was delightful. The honey lemon pepper wings stood out with their perfect balance of sweetness and a hint of spice, making them incredibly flavorful and satisfying. Accompanying the wings, I opted for the red beans and rice, which paired wonderfully with the wings and added a nice touch to the meal.
The fish sandwich was another highlight. It was served hot and fresh, with a crispy exterior and tender fish inside. The sandwich was well-executed, demonstrating Popeyes’ consistency in delivering quality food. Even though I don’t visit frequently, every time I do, the combination of the honey lemon pepper wings, red beans and rice, and the fish sandwich never disappoints.
Overall, my experience at Popeyes was excellent. The honey lemon pepper combo and fish sandwich created a delicious trio that I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this meal for its fantastic flavors and satisfying portions. I will definitely be returning to indulge in this delicious combo again.

The wings had the same kick as the spicy chicken sandwich… matter of fact, it may be slightly milder. But they are tasty, this location wings were not salty whatsoever. Kind sir even hooked me up with a free biscuit. Overall, I really liked the wings, this 6 piece was all that I needed, the biscuit made me too full, I could only eat 4 wings.
FYI: The free biscuit did not make the food tastier or better. The wings were really good to me, based on the reviews, they may have just had a really excellent batch for my order, but whatever the case, these wings were absolutely delicious.

There must be new management. I haven’t been to this location in a year however I was ecstatic to see the semi-annual promotion of the big box. I bought it. Two dark pieces,slaw,with dirty rice. It was extremely fresh tasting the chicken was perfectly seasoned and hot. But the main star was the dirty rice. That was not the atypical dirty rice that I received from this location before. The dirty rice taste as if it was made by a grandparent that resides on a dirt road near a bayou. It was awesomely good. Almost reminded me of gas station fare that one would see in rural areas.

I ordered a 8 piece combo only to get burned chicken they cooked in burned grease. It was disgusting and nasty and I called and returned the chicken and was refunded my money back. I will never visit this Popeyes again in McDonough ga off of exit 218.

Went through the drive through & ordered a two piece meal. When I got home and began to eat the chicken, it was rotten inside. I took it back to the restaurant and asked for a manager. The associate told the manager who was standing right there that I needed to speak with him. However, he took over 10 mins to acknowledge me. I asked for my money back, which he complied to do. However, because I did not bring the drink back, I was only refunded a partial amount. What a joke! They serve me raw, spoiled chicken, I waste time and gas coming back, but a $1 drink wasn’t due for the inconvenience. I frequent Popeyes, specifically, this location very often. However, I’m big on customer service and where I spend my hard earned money. I definitely won’t be back!

Food is not fresh ever. Chicken was dry and lukewarm. The fries and biscuits were the same. Unless you want chicken that’s been sitting out for hours, go somewhere else. Also, decided to try the beignets, and they were super doughy, not appetizing at all. The pictures make the meal look way better than it tasted.

I’m not sure if I should just stop coming to Popeyes all together because this is the second Popeyes I’ve had a problem with customer service I came to this Popeyes at 4:16pm on 11/16/2025 the woman in front had a really nasty attitude as if i came in and was bothering her I asked for a 4 piece told her I would like it fresh and pricing did not matter it was SUPPOSED TO be 2 wings a leg and thigh fresh it like she said wanted to debate with me how fresh the chicken was I just wanted it fresh out the grease so I get home by then I just set the food on the counter It’s 9:38pm why is my order still 2 wing 1 breast 1 leg idk her name her attitude sucks I would like some type of coupon or something

Updated review for 9/7/2024 just went through the drive through and was told they only have 1 chicken sandwich and only 1 chocolate chip biscuit left for tonight, I couldn’t order for my family so I have to drive elsewhere, PLEASE DO BETTER!

Something “interesting” happened to me today at this Popeye’s. I used the drive-thru to get a sandwich, I ordered my sandwich without mayo and proceeded to the window. I got my sandwich really fast and drove away from the window, but stopped for a minute to make sure I got what I ordered since it is so frustrating to get home and be surprised with the wrong food. As I opened the wrapper there was a really good looking, and big, piece of chicken coming out of the bun, but unfortunately instead of no mayo I got what seemed to be extra mayo. I drove again to the window and let them know, they took the sandwich back and several minutes later they gave me a new sandwich without mayo. When I got home and opened the bag to get my sandwich I couldn’t believe my eyes, I felt as if I was been punished for bringing food back and requesting it the way I had requested it from the beginning. I was never rude to them, they were not rude to me, there was just a simple exchange of food. When I took the sandwich out they had given me the saddest, smallest, worse piece of chicken I had ever seen, it was dried and it looked as if it had been taken apart, it even had a strange kind of smell. Of course I didn’t feel it was safe to eat it, and I wouldn’t even considered taking it back. I feel so bad that at a time like this, when so many are going hungry, I just felt I had no choice but to throw it away. So, I’m not sure what really happened, but unfortunately this food was not acceptable.
