Visited this place tonight. Firstly, we were trying to use a coupon when the cashier said I could only use one at a time in the drive-thru. Even though there were no other cars in line. Fine! We drove up to the window where the total was more than I expected. Cashier would not explain, nor did he seem to care. I paid, was handed our food (with no thanks for purchase. was not at all surprised). I then had to ask for my receipt, which cashier looked annoyed to give, so that I could see why I was charged an extra dollar. Turns out, cashier charged me extra for a larger size drink that I did not order! So we stayed at the drive-thru window to get the cashier’s attention, told him what happened, then a manager appeared. The manager said he’d give one dollar refund. No apology from cashier. My husband then had to go inside in order to use the second coupon. This was during a pouring rainstorm! Chicken was too rubbery and spicy, mashed potatoes had green peppers in them, making taste not good, and the biscuit was dry and so tiny like those pop-up dough cans you get at grocery stores. This was our first visit here and will be our last based on the food and the service. Glad we had coupons as this place regularly charges $9.49 for this small combo, and it was definitely not worth it. Or even the coupon price we paid.

It would have been so easy to accommodate me during my mobile order at this restaurant; however, the manager saw fit to force me to come inside. I was told that mobile orders come through a special stand at this location, and not through the drive thru. I placed a mobile order for drive thru pickup so I could stay in my car and get back into my house. The manager smiled suppressing laughter as I walked up because I was not dressed for the occaison. So I feel embarrassed, and unaccomodated by the leadership at this location. What do you expect from a one star restaurant. Maybe it’s time I lost the extra baggage this chain offers. Funnily enough my order was not ready, and was prepared after my arrival. It was never placed on the special stand, and maybe, just maybe, the people here who “do not make up the rules,” Could follow through with what the business promises.

This is one of the worst locations. They never have chicken. How can you call your establishment a chicken place but never have any chicken. This is one of several visits no matter what time of the day where there is no chicken (not cooked) BUT NO CHICKEN. I went through the drive through to order the new ghost pepper wings and was told they don’t have any. Thankfully there is a new Popeyes in Suwanee that was able to provide chicken no problem. This will be my new spot. The one in Buford must be individually owned, they can’t afford to order or pay for enough chicken to run the place. Maybe they should inquire about becoming franchised.

Ordered $100+ pick up order. Gave them 1hr to notice per app. Went to pick it up at scheduled time and it was not ready. Front person asked back staff if order was ready and they just laughed at him saying “good luck”. This was all done in front of me. Waited 15mins for the order to be filled. The manager just kept saying “damn” to the poor kid instead of helping him. This was all done at 330pm off peak hour. Poor professionalism. No apologies was offered or given. Additonally the portions were way off. I was able to fit 3 orders of fries into 2 boxes with room to spare. Would recommend avoiding this place if possible.

This is the worst location ever. I’m going to have to go to the other Buford location. There is ALWAYS an issue. I filed a complaint last year because a blue haired girl was so rude and so nasty, it was ridiculous. Most visits, something is cold, or the sides are not filled completely. Then today, we ordered an 8 piece, yet were shorted a piece of chicken. A thigh to be exact. We were home and settled before we noticed it. I mean, come on, every single visit, there’s a problem. I will not be returning to this location if I can help it!

We placed an order for pickup via the Popeyes app and scheduled for pickup in 30 mins or so. We got there in time and they say “We haven’t received your order” 10 mins after the person at the desk went back and forth with the manager. We had no idea they hadn’t received the order for the first 10 mins and were just waiting. They then say it and read through our email and verify the location and items. The guy at the front desk put together our items, we checked and noticed some were missing, he added some, we re-checked and he ending up adding more missing items. We got home only to realize we were missing biscuits. The Manager honestly showed no sign of being a “Manager”, zero customer service. I’ve given two stars: 1 for the good fried chicken and 1 for the front desk guy who helped put together our order. Terrible service: while we were waiting, there were people behind us in line who were waiting for 10-15 mins +. Really annoying. If we come back, it’s only going to be for their chicken.

Your food is good but your service is horrible and your store is unprofessional. Why can’t you get an order right? Why does management not care about this store and its success? Plus no jalapenos, cajun rice, buttermilk ranch or strawberry bisquits. And my fries were cold and hard. This store needs to be fixed or go out of business! I will say one girl there was nice and apologetic.

Please avoid at all cost. We’re waited for over 15 minutes for old stale chicken. Went inside because it was taking too long and was greeted with attitudes from the manager and only staff member cooking in the back. I can go on about how terrible my order was but PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION

I can never get enough of the Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich! Food was great as always, received my order in what I consider to be good time. I only add this review to comment on customer service, as there is room for improvement. Everyone there is working hard, and there were about 10 people or so behind counter, so it’s nicely staffed. However, dine-in customers were treated as if they wanted to discourage dine-in service. We walked in, waited at the counter for quite a while before anyone even acknowledged we were there (we were the only ones in line). After seeing us, there was no ‘be with you soon’, etc., just silence, as we waited for the person to complete her other order before she stepped up to the register.
