I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the service was disorganized and inattentive. We waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, even though the place wasn’t busy.
The food was even worse. My meal arrived lukewarm, and it was clear it had been sitting out for a while. The ingredients didn’t taste fresh, and the dish lacked seasoning and flavor. For the prices they charge, I expected much better quality and presentation.
To make matters worse, when we politely mentioned the issue to the staff, they seemed indifferent and offered no real solution — not even an apology. Good customer service goes a long way, and unfortunately, that was completely missing here.
Overall, the experience felt overpriced, underwhelming, and frustrating. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience

I would have given 5 stars all around, but the manager Larry has an attitude problem. He has that HNIC persona. Now the crew, different story, especially Jeremiah, BreAnna, and Dystini, they was friendly, courteous, very well mannered, had more customer service than the “manager.” Now I used to go to this Popeyes often when lived in the area, just was passing through and decided to stop in. Now the manager was rude from the very beginning, the young lady BreAnna, told him she needed his finger for my military discount, he said what she ordered, if specials, she ain’t getting one! Of course since Popeyes is my favorite fast food restaurant I am well aware of the procedures, so I said I wouldn’t have asked if I had specials. He was nit picking everything, sitting in the corner like he was the owner, instead of a manager, I was talking to BreAnna, he was answering like she was incapable of talking, and when I said sorry, I was talking to Her, he said you talking to MY workers so you talking to me. I was like hmmm so she can’t talk, but I get it!! I must say my order was correct, and my food awesome, but because of Larry. I could only do 4 stars, and as a retired Hospitality Manager, I feel confident in saying, courteous manners go a very long way. But thank you to BreAnna, Dustin, and Jeremiah, as well as the back line crew, they were great!!!

I went there yesterday. The wait was awful. I’ve been going there for year. I never had to wait as long as I did yesterday. I waited for 40 min. The young lady on the register was very friendly. She kept apologizing for the long wait. They need at least two registers open. I hope things get better for them.

It’s always something new with Popeyes. They actively go out their way to disappoint me every visit, yet I keep coming back because the flavor is so addictive.
Tonight, I only ordered 4 pies and thought I’d be getting the typical 50 cent discount for buying in pairs, given that the board still displayed “1 for $1.99 or 2 for $3.49”. I was told my total would be $8.63 and asked why I didn’t get a discount. I was told they stopped discounting pies and that the managers knew board is wrong but won’t change the pricing.
Crying about false advertising means nothing these days so what can you do but leave a bad review?
I’m confident nothing will be done about it and I’m sure they’ll trick me into coming back one way or another.

My husband did take out order, when he got home no biscuits and only 2 apple pies. I live across town but always liked the popeyes in West Columbia best. Something has happened to this store. I drove back to get the missing stuff or the money back (just tired of fast food doing this) on my way in the store a man coming out of the store wished me luck. The standard for this store has really gone down waaaaaay down. People was asking for refunds talking among themselves about how long they had been waiting. And not a smile or communication from not one employee. Correction the little girl on the front register was kind.
but her effort to be kind was overshadowed by the other 2 sour faces and slow moving.

Order delivery: food quality was horrible, sides were underportioned. I spoke with the manager Regina, who was defensive and displayed ZERO customer service skill.
Maybe I should’ve read the reviews beforehand, but DO NOT order from this location.

Traveling from out of state through the area and stopped for a quick bite. Got a bacon chicken sandwich combo meal. The sandwich was cold and dry. Went to ask the big guy behind the counter for some BBQ sauce just to get the sandwich up to par so my friend and I could eat real quick and get back on the road. The guy said it’ll be .27 and gave an attitude. Said he will replace the sandwich with an attitude. So instead of just giving a .27 BBQ sauce, he insisted on replacing a sandwich that costs far more.
Also, if you want a clean table to sit at to eat, better clean them yourself.
Word to the wise if traveling in the area, don’t stop at this location.

I’ll get straight to it…. Popcorn shrimp were edible. Dried out pieces of dough, substituted for popcorn shrimp? Portion was small, not 1/4th lb.
Cold Cajun fries. 1 ketchup packet. Horrible experience when placing order. Not a happy customer! Last pic is how it’s supposed to look.
