The manager, Grace was her name, coordinated her team with well identified experience of a born professional leader. The service was prompt and accurate. Everyone seemed to operate as one unit on the same accord. Pure excellence. That atmosphere is needed in lots of other establishments I’ve dined at that lacked in that department. Keep up the good work Popeye’s team and management. It’s like that not once in a while, but every time I dine there. Makes me feel comfortable and at home.

Got a 8 peace spicy chicken meal with a large mashed potato and small fry. Chicken is not spicy, didn’t get the mashed potatoes (got rice with beans; which was disgusting), and the biscuits taste old. Recommend to check your meal before you leave, or just don’t go at all. Lots of places in Sumter related to food are just not it.

We ordered online. We ordered the spicy chicken, coleslaw, biscuits and the beans and rice. When we got there we were told our order would take about 15 minutes and they were out of biscuits and coleslaw. after 30 minutes of waiting we went in to get the food and see what was taking so long. there were very angry customers. We ended up taking regular chicken and got mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and the beans and rice. there were lines of people in the lobby screaming and yelling. It was ugly.

11-25-25 Tuesday evening I went through the drive thru to get a chicken sandwich combo number 1 and was completely disappointed. It was about 9:05pm I got the sandwich it was cold I also ordered red beans and rice and the rice was crunchy not to mention I ordered a drink fruit punch and I didn’t get it and had to drive and go back to get it. I used to work at Popeyes in a different state and whom ever was working the evening shift this evening was just being plain lazy. Wasted my money for nothing and I’m sure they wouldn’t feed what I got to their family.

Went to Popeyes for 2 6pc ghost pepper wings. They served me 1 at the window and parked me for the other box. I waited a lil over 30 min for 6 wings. It would have been longer but I drove around to see what was going on I got to the window where they were laughing and playing and standing around. One of the cashiers tried to explain I told her no ma’am I want to speak to a manager. The manger came to the window with the same attitude as her employees I told her what I had and how long I was waiting. She proceeded to the kitchen came back with the box and didn’t say anything. And the wings were not fresh and they tasted old not hot at all. Customer service supposed to be everything. I see at Popeyes it’s not. If yall don’t get a hand on this soon this will be very bad for business. Hire people in the proper place this is not a game, when dealing with people’s food. And the GM is no better.
