Had an absolute nightmare of an experience today over the smallest issue. Ordered a large mashed potatoes and gravy. Super basic. Super simple. The top had almost no gravy (I’ve been ordering this for years and I know what the serving size is) so I simply asked for it to be fixed and said if you could please either add a little more on top or on the side, it’s no problem, things happen.” She said no and then laughed at me. She said if you want more you have to pay for it. I said I wouldn’t have minded if I was legitimately asking for an extra portion size but for $6 I’d like the gravy I paid for. I couldn’t believe I was having a discussion about getting my food as intended. She proceeded to literally ignore me and act like I wasn’t there.

I never complain like this but after that experience I think other people should know not to support this location. She was the manager and one of the rudest people I’ve ever spoken to in a service setting, even half a dozen people in line were shaking their heads, commenting, and multiple people said they couldn’t believe how she was treating all the customers. Even the nice elderly women and her son before me she was very rude to when they asked to add more chicken to their order. They couldn’t believe her responses and the way she was speaking to them. There was also a man in there who had been asking about his food for 15 mins (according to him) and she was blatantly ignoring him.

The whole place was worked up. Every customer was irritated. She should be fired.

I’m making sure to contact corporate and I’ll never give this Popeyes my business again. Insanity.

I had placed an order for pick up and picked up with no issues. I then realized I had rewards to get a coke, so I went back through the drive thru, but had to place the order on my phone. I was literally at Centre park location but for some reason it was routed to the Columbia mall location, and they wouldn’t honor it. I tried to cancel the order but the app said orders couldn’t be canceled. I would have understood if it was actual food, but not giving the drink was just mean of them IMO.

I visited this location on February 24 and unfortunately had a disappointing experience.

I went through the drive-thru and initially ordered the 8pc Butterfly Shrimp meal. When I got to the window, I was told it was unavailable and agreed to substitute it with the 6pc BBQ boneless wings.

The employee who helped me was polite, but when I got home I realized several issues with my order:

• I received the wrong sandwich (I ordered a Spicy Chicken Sandwich with cheese and bacon but received a plain spicy sandwich)
• My large sweet tea was missing
• I was not given a receipt
• Because I didn’t receive a receipt, I was unable to earn points for my purchase in the rewards program

I attempted to call the store twice but no one answered.

I’ve never had issues at this location before, which is why this was especially disappointing. I’ve also tried reaching out through Popeyes support channels but have not been able to resolve the issue.

I spent $44.58 and the only proof I have is my Apple Pay transaction.

I’m sharing this in hopes that someone from management can help address this.

This would to be my go to Popeyes since it was conveniently on my commute home. I don’t know what happened to this location, but it used to be quick and my orders were rarely messed up. A few weeks ago, I came here and the chicken was hard and not edible. On top of that, they also forgot items from my to-go order. I was told I would hear back within 5 business days regarding a refund or resolution. I never heard anything back. After following up, all I received was the generic “your concerns were well received and we value your feedback” response, with no actual resolution. Very disappointing experience overall.

My two classic chicken sandwiches and coleslaw order was stellar. The brioche buns, pickles, and the fried chicken were fresh and perfectly cooked and assembled. The slaw was cold, fresh, crunchy and wonderfully sauced. The service was professional, timely and courteous. The restaurant was spectacularly clean and well maintained. Out of all the Popeyes I have visited, this one is on the top of the list. Go and enjoy!

I arrived at this Popeyes at 12:35 AM as it was one of the only places open. They closed at 1:00 AM and I was pleasantly surprised how hot my food came out. I thought it would be the last of the what they were trying to get rid of but it wasn’t.

I have been a customer at this location for several years; however, service has recently declined. Although the posted closing time is 1:00 AM, the location has been closing earlier. On a recent visit at 12:30 AM, there were two vehicles ahead of me in the drive-thru. When it was my turn to be served, I was told the location was closed. I was unable to reverse out and had to wait until the vehicles in front of me completed their orders. When I reached the payment window, the employee walked away without acknowledgment. This level of service is unacceptable and unprofessional.

I went in to use a gift card that I was given to come here, which I never typically come here and thought I’d try it again. Well after she rung up my order and I swiped my gift card it said on the screen approved and let me know the balance left on it which was 0. I only had a $1 left I needed to pay and she tried telling me that the entire payment was declined and I still owed what I already swiped my card for. After that I moved to the side confused trying to figure it out and saw that I did in fact have a balance on my card. While I was doing that she started speaking another language (in which I actually do know and understand) to her coworker all laughing. I won’t be back here again, first and last time. Horrible service.

I ordered popcorn shrimp along with spicy tenders, biscuit, and red beans with rice. (I was super hungry and forgot to take pics of the other items .)
The shrimp were crispy, hot, fresh with a hint of spice. I didn’t need the cocktail sauce, although it only enhances the flavor profile of the shrimp.
It seems counterintuitive to order shrimp from a place specializing in chicken, but I must say that they are a delightful addition to the meal. Of course the spicy chicken tenders with sweet heat dipping sauce and Cajun sparkle and red beans with rice were a hit . Now on to the biscuit…it was dry but with honey it is edible. To be fair, I have had fresh biscuits that weren’t dry in the past though. Overall, I think this particular location is consistent with their food quality and service. I will continue patronizing them.

I went to the restaurant drive-thru and stated my mobile order number. No problem BUT the worst thing is getting home and finding that your Mac and cheese was potatoes instead
