The food tastes amazing. However, the constant failure to get the meal correct is not. While it is a fast food restaurant and they only have chicken, meals shouldn’t be wrong. If any of the workers experienced a real restaurant. They would know it’s really not that hard to get it correct. Read the ticket and you’ll get everything right. There is NO need for people to spend money on food, just for it to be completely wrong or missing items. We all are human and make mistakes but we all also don’t want our food to be wrong. Do better because the job really isn’t hard. You were trained to do so. Thank you and please take everything into consideration!

Had a good experience at this Popeye’s. The customer service was great and we got our order real quick. The food was delicious. Ever since I’ve moved to the area a few months ago, I’ve been struggling to find a solid fast food restaurant. This one is the best. Will definitely return.

I paid for all white meat and got charged for it. I did not get my wings. I didn’t check because it was the drive through. For $47.13 for 2 people who don’t eat dark meat is ridiculous. Could have gone to a nice dinner. Contacted corporate but I severely doubt hey have a manager at the location. Tried to call multiple times but the only phones employees answer are their cell phones. Your food Is no better than a gas station. If you have any management there I want an apology and a refund. This is why I don’t eat garbage overpriced fast food.

This place is going downhill! Especially this Bel Air location. I was there today and got a 3 piece chicken meal, it was trash. Chicken rotted and smelly. Tried to call them, phone kept ringing out. Disappointed. I would oftenly buy my lunch here and had accumulated points. Thank god I used the points today for my purchase or I would have Been 10 times more upset. Get it together Popeyes!! Your food is starting to suck! How can you serve anyone rotten chicken !!!!

On Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 5:14pm I went through drive-thru and ordered a 10-piece meal for $22.99 plus tax and was told by cashier (very hard to understand) to drive around and 4 minutes someone would bring chicken out. I waited 15 minutes and went inside at 5:29pm. No one would wait on me. Finally someone did and I said I’ve been waiting 15 minutes outside, can you just cancel my order and refund me my money. She said “no English” and kept saying “no English”. I asked for a manager, and 2 other employees said “no English”. I was handed my order and left and returned home a few minutes later to burnt (inedible) chicken which I had to throw out. I called the store back and was hung up on 3 times. There’s no customer complaint number, just a chat robot. How can a restaurant be in business when none of the employees speak English? Avoid at all cost! Will be filing a complaint with the Maryland Better Business Bureau for a full refund. If not, then I’ll file a small claim in District Court. Oh,and to let you know, inside the restaurant it was filthy especially the counters and floors!
Update 9/14/25: Dear Popeye’s Owner (Edwin E.) – how can I contact the restaurant when no one will answer the phone, or say they don’t speak English? I will be contacting other Governmental agencies and informing them of what your employees said (about not speaking English) to determine if that’s indeed correct; for if so, other investigations need to occur.
Update 10/01/25: The Maryland Better Business Bureau just notified me that both the Popeye’s Corporate location in Georgia, as well as the location in Bel Air, Maryland have IGNORED repeated requests. I’m now forced to seek reimbursement in District Court, where in addition to the reimbursement of the food, there’s a $138 filing fee, as well as a $60 process server fee for the small claim, which I will be filing TODAY!

Cheating customers at its finest!! The rude pregnant lady working the drive thru needs an attitude adjustment! The pieces are so small it’s an absolute rip off!!! Last time at this joke of a Popeyes! And she’s always rude!!!

went through the drive through ordered 2 meals with large cokes, the person speaking asked if we wanted a large multiple times, confirmed. got to the window our drinks were regular. had to pay extra to get a large, which was fine, asian lady at the window was lowkey giving us attitude. we left, the cokes we ordered had NO syrup in them. tasted like carbonated water. the mac and cheese we ordered somehow had no pasta in it ?? it was all cheese?? i got ONE honey mustard, the tenders i received were extremely small, not at all like their normal size. very disappointing experience

Rushed us thru the drive through. Couldn’t understand English to take our order. Paid extra for BBQ sauce and then didn’t even get it. Definitely not impressed. I guess I will be going to Chic fila where they don’t charge you for BBQ sauce and give you what you ask for with a smile!!!

I have eaten here more than a dozen times. The Spicy chicken sandwiches are very good it’s almost a tough time deciding if I am go to eat at Chick-fil-A or Popeyes. Eating here though you are almost guaranteed to have your order messed up.
Examples in my experiences
-Pickles on sandwiches when requested none 3x
-I order extra side of gravy and get plain mashed potatoes and the regular serving of gravy on side and never get the extra gravy.
– Incomplete orders
– (Today) I order the 4pcs signature chicken platter 2 side drink. Only received one side.
-another order was I made ordered several regular chicken sandwiches and several Spicy chicken sandwiches (5 each) for myself and co-workers. I used drive-Thru left with a bag arrived at work and 2 Spicy sandwiches were missing and 1 regular.
-was missing Lg side of mashed potatoes
**(all happened when ordering from Drive-Thur)
So I’m already home or at work when I notice these mistakes.
Calling the support number does nothing beside them saying they look into it and follow-up with that restaurant. Submitting a complaint online does the same pretty much. So I’m leaving a review on here so hopefully the right ppl see this a resolve these issues and My rating and review will reflect.
