I love living in southern PG County and am proud of it. This Popeyes location is embarrassing. I pre-ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 4 piece meals. I arrived ~15 mins after order and it took no less than another 40 min to give me my food.
The food was perfect Popeyes.
There needs to be an emphasis here for management of the current workforce. Or bring in an external workforce… which I dont want to support.

Staff training on efficiency and hospitality is definitely needed. They just move slow, slow everything. Slow drive thru, slow to greet/acknowledge customers. I’ve been here about 3 times and waited so long in the drive thru I just ended up going in. And still waited for so long.
But yeah, train those girls, they seem nice but everyone is taking their sweet time in there.

First and last time at this Popeyes. I went through drive-in and ordered 3 piece mild all legs. They said they were out of mild legs, did I want spicy. I told them I can’t eat spicy. They told me I had to wait 6 minutes for fresh legs and they’d bring it out to me. After parking and waiting 10mins I go inside to get my food. After waiting and being hungry I didn’t check the bag and just went home. To my surprise I had 2 pieces of mild legs and 1 old spicy leg in there! So I could only eat 2 pieces after all that. Not to mention the person on the mic who took my order wasn’t very pleasant. It’s so ridiculous that we have to go way out in MD or VA to a white area to get good customer service. Such a shame! Horrible food and Horrible service at this brand new Popeyes!!!!

I placed a order on the app. Arrived 20 mins later and my food was not ready. I used to work fast food so I’m normally not too hard on food taking long. But I waited another 30 minutes to get my order. Everyone behind the counter was nice and they were really working hard but it just took too long for a takeout order.

The staff and manager was cursing me out because I fussed about my order I waited for 35 minutes for just a regular mild 5 pc chicken. Nothing special. Save your time and money and drive on down to oxon hill or another location. I’ve tried to give this location a try on 3 different occasions, drive thru, carry out and an online order.
They have a Hispanic woman giving out the food order who barely speaks English and doesn’t tell you items were out of stock and your order is incomplete.
Carry out: you order items and your order is missing extra toppings you paid for.
Drive thru: super slow, and don’t you dare come 1.5 hours before closing… they will tell you they are out of practically everything.
This location had so much hope… unfortunately it is poorly ran by people who simply do not care.

They ran out of coleslaw, but the food is good. I think they need more trained staff. It seems as everyone is new with 2 seasoned employees. My 4th time going here. Good customer service.

Decided to give this location a try and I was pleasantly surprised. Ordered through the app and it was ready as soon as I got there. I was greeted with a smile by Denzel.
Spicy tenders were hot, crispy, and had a nice kick to them without being dried out which is often the case with Popeyes tenders. I don’t know who was back there cooking but they did their big one. Tried the popcorn shrimp, they were just okay, they were made fresh, but could have used a little more seasoning.
Overall a good experience and I’ll be back.
