I’ve ordered Hi-Tea off of Uber Eats a couple times now and am very excited to have found good Asian food nearby. I read through the reviews and I’m not sure how you could not give this place a high rating. So far I’ve tried the sweet and sour chicken, potstickers, dumplings, general tso chicken, bun bo hue, pho, and a couple different boba drinks. My favorite thing has been the general tso chicken. I hestitate to order it places because it’s never done well but this place does it just how I like it (I prefer more spicy but that’s personal preference). The sauce is nice and thick, has great flavor, and the chicken pieces are great. From the photos in the reviews, it looks like this place is consistent which is great. I don’t typically drink boba but I did try one last night and it was really good. I will definitely continue to order from this place!
I do have one suggestion if the owners happen to read this… I bet an orange/tangerine chicken would do well and I would be curious to see how well you make it because everything else you do has been great! We’d also like to see more dumpling options 🙂

Expensive, paid $34 for two items. As you can see from the picture, the portions were very small and didn’t even fill the styrofoam container brim. The food itself was decent, but the serving size didn’t match the price

What started as a boba obsession turned into one of our favorite take out place in UT. We ordered DoorDash one night and fell in love so much we went and picked it up the next night. The chicken fried rice is the kind you search for until you find THE one. The boba isn’t too sweet and they give the right amount of boba. Everyone who works there greets you as they are really happy to see you. We love Hi-Tea!

We took my daughter there to celebrate her. What an exceptional place! The food! The service! AMAZINGLY delicious. The cashier gave me great recommendations. I had birds nest. Fabulous! All our food was great! They were so kind too! My son and husband even played chess while we waited for our food which didn’t take long. Highly recommend.

Cute little new restaurant. Great service and very clean. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing.
The chicken lettuce wraps were good! I just wished they had a better sauce. It was just thick hoisin sauce which is hard to spread.
Birds nest. The noodles were rancid and inedible. Frozen veggies still cold.
Honey walnut shrimp the walnuts were rancid. Shrimp and sauce okay.
The boba was also rancid.
We did eat the lettuce wraps and shrimp minis the walnuts.
I encourage Hi-Tea to really watch the freshness of these maybe less ordered meals or take them off the menu. You could have a great thing here. Good people.

I am very pleased to have authentic Thai and Chinese food close to my home. A word of caution for those that do not tolerate spicy food well, the Thai curries are likely not for you. The yellow curry is the most mild and my wife said it still had a kick but the flavor was rewarding if you stick through the heat. I had the panaeng chicken curry extra hot, It was delicious and very flavorful. The chicken Pad Thai was delicious and had no spice. Baked Salted Shrimp is a favorite of my wife and I and this did not disappoint. The chicken Chow Fun was orders for our son and it had authentic ingredients and flavors. This is the one of the only restaurants we have found that properly execute this dish much less have it. The food was all hot, fresh, and cooked to order. The curries cannot be made less hot because they make the sauces properly which takes much preparation time. They are authentic, if you persevere through the heat you will be rewarded with complex amazing flavors. A suggestion for the owners regarding the yellow curry would be to remove the lemon grass stalks from a customers serving as some may learn the hard way it’s not to be eaten. Our family will definitely be eating here again.

Some negatives to the place are the boba being too hard to chew, and the caramel pork dish with onions was dry.
One of the positives is that it’s possible to mix flavors for your boba, and you can’t do that at Ding Tea.
The appetizer wings weren’t too bad, and house special noodles with the veggies were good too.
It feels bad to not give a good review to a new place opening up, but hopefully they can fix it 🙂

This place is okay. Nothing fancy, not a lot of flavor in the food, but it’s quick and convenient for us. The lemon chicken had not flavor at all until you dipped it in the sauce, which was mediocre. We’d probably stick to the tea side of things here.

Good choices of milk teas, with large variety of alternatives to boba topping, big fan of the Strawberry popping boba.
Portion a bit smaller for the price but real good items on the menu. Fan of the vietnamese noodles and the thai red curry.

I came here with high hopes from the good reviews and left feeling underwhelmed. There were 2 teenagers who seemed to be running the place who’s personal conversation didn’t stop the entire time we were there. We were dining in and felt uncomfortable, and ended up leaving early. The pho was okay, the brisket seemed overdone and there were these long onion pieces that seemed old??? They were very hard to chew and I ended up picking them out. My husband got the vermicelli noodles and said they were good.
