I’m starting to take this personal. I don’t eat pickles and every time I order my sandwich I stress that I don’t want pickles on my sandwich, even go as far as to say I’m allergic to them please don’t put it on my sandwich. I used to enjoy coming here and regularly purchased two orders of the mild white chicken (two pieces each) with mashed potatoes and coleslaw — no drinks — all for $12.72.
Now, the same order costs $28.15. That’s more than double the price, and frankly, it’s unreasonable.
Many people, including myself, are struggling financially, and price hikes like this show little regard for everyday consumers. Sadly, I can no longer afford to eat here and hope others take notice of this unfair pricing.

I was disappointed that my entire meal was so so salty that I won’t come back this was disrespectful in my opinion, it’s as if my enemy was trying to kill me it is an enormous amount of sodium that I couldn’t enjoy my meal for the first time. After having a long bad day at work, I decided to stop and pick up Popeys. I stopped at the East Stroudsburg location on 611. I pulled up at the drive thru and my day got better immediately. The person who took my order, SHAR, was so personable and friendly. She had me laughing when recommending the rice and beans. She is definitely a keeper and asset to that location. Ok you ever have Dickey’s deep fried Okra? It’s delicious and my point is I want Popeyes or KFC to introduce it on their menu because Dickey’s is struggling and our local one closed. Those okra bites have me in a trance. Whichever place decides to offer them, even Wendy’s or McDonald’s, will get more business from me. Oh and I give Popeyes a slight edge over KFC because their mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy are superb.
