I was looking forward to Popeyes as I enjoy it near my home as a treat. This location is at a rest, stop with other restaurants near it. When I ordered the food, they did not have many menu options, like the fish sandwich. I ordered the chicken tenders and ghost pepper, pepper, bacon, and cheese chicken sandwich with a side of mac & cheese. It was all not fresh. The mac & cheese was watery, the chicken tenders seem to have been sitting under the heat lamp for a while, and the chicken sandwich was not crispy. Cheese was old, and the sandwich itself tasted old. I would not suggest going here. I regret it and should have gone to Shake shack instead.

I was just there an hour ago. And ordered 12 honey barbecue wings. And as you can tell by the picture. It isn’t even what pop eyes sell. They took their regular chicken wings whole and drizzled a little bit of the barbecue sauce on there. Not to mention. The chicken was cold and tasted old. What’s sad about the whole situation. I was craving Popeyes, and I knew that I would be paying more because it was a rest stop. For nearly $18, I received dry, cold chicken, and the mac and cheese was not heated properly; there were cold, hard areas, as seen in the picture. I was feeling for some chicken while on the turnpike headed north. Stopped in at the Joyce Kilmer service area as the sign showed Popeyes. I knew that the price would be a bit more because of the turnpike, so it was not an issue.
I proceeded to place my order, the cashier charged additional for my drink. When I told him that it was a combo, the drink was included. He informed me that the combo DOES NOT come with a drink. Upon closer inspection of the menu board, I noticed that they had covered the “drink” wording in the combo meal.
I canceled my order and got a different meal at another spot.

One of my favourites for fried chicken. Nashville hot being my best choice, they do offer milder spicy versions with amazing sauces. The biscuit and mashed potatoes go as a great combo. This one is right off of NJ turnpike and an excellent place for

The person who helped me was an Indian woman who didn’t understand what I was saying. She didn’t know how to answer my questions. She was very rude and only wanted to sell me the most expensive options. I advise you not to go to this place, especially with this kind of rude people.

I ordered 2 6 piece wing meals and a 3 piece tender meal. I was surprised that the wings did not come with fries or a drink. They were also very spicy and not enjoyable without being told by the cashier they were spicy. The 3 piece tender meal did come with fries but no drink and looked undercooked and lacked golden color. The workers were very unpleasant and not helpful. Never coming back. It happen on 8/15/2024 1:15 pm

If I could give them a zero I would by far the worst Popeyes I ever been to. Order 12pc honey lemon pepper wings wanted bone in they give me boneless and say we don’t have bone in not to mention this is more like nuggets they sprinkle flavor u get a combo 1 side no biscuit not to mention a drink a combo comes with a drink. Food not hot not even warm. Waste of $17 just trash all around. Staff look like they don’t even wanna work. I don’t understand how they open just made Popeyes look bad.
