I am beyond disappointed. This Haledon Popeyes location used to be my reliable backup when the Paterson store inevitably dropped the ball, but it’s clear this one has plummeted just as badly, if not worse.
My latest attempt was to purchase a 6-piece order of the Buffalo Rub wings. What I received was an absolute disgrace. The chicken felt hot, but the moment I took a bite, something was deeply wrong. The flavor was off just weird and the texture suggested the chicken was almost not all the way cooked. It was inedible. When they put the rub on the chicken, can they at least evenly coat the wings and not just dumped it on, like really one flat had so much rub just in one spot it was unbelievable.
After taking a quick photo for documentation, the entire box went straight into the garbage. That’s money wasted and an appetite ruined.
It is disheartening to watch a former go-to spot fall so far. If consistently poor quality and questionable food preparation are the new standard for Popeyes in this area, then perhaps this awful experience is a sign that I need to find my chicken fix somewhere else entirely. This was a complete and total letdown.

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. After sitting down for a short time, the manager personally told me to leave. As a paying customer, I should be able to enjoy my food without being rushed or made to feel unwelcome. When this kind of behavior comes from the manager, it reflects poorly on the entire restaurant. This was unprofessional and left me with a very negative impression of Popeyes.

Friendly customer service. Very busy location during lunch time- lines were long but service ran smoothly. Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich which was yummy! I also wanted to order a side of small fries but the only sizes available are regular and large. A regular order of fries is descent amount to share if you choose to do so!

I placed an online order for a 10 piece chicken. Mixed. When I get home they put 2 breasts and 8 wings. Luckily I live a few blocks away. So I walked back with the chicken and they switched the chicken. THEY PUT THE CHICKEN THAT WE WERE ORIGINALLY GIVEN BACK WITH THE CHICKEN TO SERVE OTHER CUSTOMERS! Then the chicken we ate was horrible. It literally taste like rubber. Chewing and chewing like bubble gum. Disgusting. I should have just taken a $20 bill and threw it in the garbage. Next time I’ll eat a bowl of cereal. Never again. And I’ve had many bad experiences here. But this was the final straw.

Staff is so slow.
For delivery they force drivers to be in a drive through. And wait for 30 minutes to get the order. There should be little easy way to pick delivery orders, instead of being in a drive through drivers can park and pick it from drive through window.
Between last night the guy was really rude. And closed the window on my face.

I had a terrible experience yesterday. I ordered through Uber and it took the restaurant 1 hr and 15 minutes to have the order ready. The Uber drivers kept on dropping the order because they couldn’t just stay there waiting.
When the food finally arrived, it was the wrong items. I paid for large sides and received small, I paid for large fanta drink and received a coke can, I paid for a 5 piece tenders and received a 3 piece, no dips. The food was also cold and hard, it tasted old like it was reheated many times.
I completely lost my appetite. I paid $31 for nothing.
