I love this Popeyes. I’m sure it’s my problem since my brother is fine after eating here, but there’s some kind of trigger food here that gives me severe indigestion. Food, service, and atmosphere is top-notch, I guess this must be the world’s cruel way of balancing out such a great chain restaurant.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I was on a 14 for pain and was actually forced to throw up, while also still being constipated as of writing this message. If you eat here for the first time, I highly recommend you eat a small portion, and to drink plenty of water. Maybe try the sweet tea instead of soda to relieve your stomach. It might also be that they prepare food a certain way here, because I was fine the first couple of times I came, then slowly started to experience bad indigestion after meals. My brother has only been here twice and he’s fine. We are both in our 20’s.
Don’t let my horrible experience daunt you, I just warn you if you have issues with GERD or indigestion. I still loved every bite, I just can’t afford to come anymore for my personal health.
Edit: I’ve come back to give this place their 5-stars, turns out, I have fatty liver disease and Popeyes was a bad trigger. Take care of yourselves!

I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience at this Bloomfield Popeyes location. After placing an order of nearly $35 and waiting close to 20 minutes for my food, I politely requested additional sauces to accommodate the amount of chicken I purchased. The cashier, Ms. Yulendy, stated she could only provide one extra, despite the size of my order. When I later realized my biscuit was missing and returned to the counter to inform her, she responded with giving me a look that implied I was being dishonest. This level of disrespect toward a paying customer is unacceptable. I should not be treated as if I am attempting to take something I did not receive. While I hope this was not influenced by bias, the interaction was concerning enough that I will not be returning to this location. I am requesting that management review this incident and address the conduct displayed, as no customer should be spoken to or treated in this manner. Last, she needs to keep in mind, WE the CUSTOMERS are paying your salary. Also, the food tasted like it was cooked in old grease! I threw everything out when I got home, yuck!
P.S. The tables were very filthy, and I felt disgusted to eat here. Additionally, I noticed Ms. Yulendy was giving a young Black male a difficult time, giving him the code for the men’s room. The reason noticed was she was getting loud with him like she had an attitude. She kept telling him to wait; even her coworker indicated earlier she would let him in. This is unprofessional behavior.

I just go there for the sweet and spicy wings, absolutely delicious. The staff is okay, the wait time is always long ( it doesn’t matter how many people are in line). It is usually clean but cold in the restaurant. Food is good and fresh.

Was in the and spotted this jewel of southern spice so I had to stop, we had the $10 tender box the best of the deal they have comes with chicken tenders and the rest see it for your self on my pics. The food was as perfect as it’s name, service was excellent, only problem we encountered was when we got our food the order came in with one item wrong. Other than that this guys are very nice and keep the restaurant spotless.

I was in the area and used the mobile app to place an order. I completely forgot this location was so much closer to my work site! When I arrived, my order was just being bagged up. The food was hot and correct. Using the app is a great way to take advantage of special deals that aren’t offered in the store.

normally don’t get on these reviews, but doing this given my circumstance. 25 minute wait for chicken sandwich order with only 2 orders ahead of me. nice cashier gave an extra side, but damage done :/. please give priority to people waiting in line instead of focusing solely on online orders.

Amazing!!! This Popeyes is one of my favorite locations!! Always fast and fresh! Good service excellent management & my visit on the 13th was just as expected…Amazing! Staff was very helpful and efficient. I had a small wait for my tenders as they were coming out FRESH!!! I didn’t mind at all. I was there between 11 am & 12 pm. Thanks Maria & Staff!!! Yall ROCK!!!
