Popeyes has a consistent food quality and is always filling. We went in a Friday to try their fish selection. We had a regular fish sandwich, the spicy fish sandwich and the fried shrimp box. All were cooked well and the portions were good. The fish is bigger than the bun and the spicy fish sandwich had good heat from the sauce that they use. The mashed potatoes were great and had a good ratio of potatoes to gravy. We ordered a 6 piece biscuit box and they never disappoint. The biscuits have a crunchy exterior and soft interior. The food came out very quick and they had everything on the menu. I did have to go back and ask for forks, napkins and ketchup. It’s a little disappointing to have to go back up and ask for these things especially when the location was not busy at all. All said, a good meal and a clean dining room.

I won’t be returning to Popeyes. The workers in this Popeyes are super incompetent. Regardless of what I order guaranteed it’ll be wrong. I’ve ordered spicy chicken and have received mild, I’ve stated dark meat only and they still add white meat. I’ve requested ketchup for my fries only for it to not be included. And not to mention the food is cold.
Customer service is non existent. As soon as one walks in to place an order or ordering through drive through the attitude is combative. I understand working with the public can be frustrating. There are people who want to cause as much misery to others as possible and even cost them their jobs. I get it, but I’m not one of those people.
There were only one instances where the workers went above and beyond for me and I appreciate them. Unfortunately, I didn’t get their names, but all the others could learn a thing or two from them.

I don’t celebrate Christmas, so I looked for a place on Uber Eats to order some food. This Popeye’s was listed as open, so I placed an order, which was accepted. About a half hour later my order was canceled, and I assumed it was just because they couldn’t find a delivery person. So I went directly to the Popeye’s app and placed a pickup order. Again, it was accepted. I walked into the store about 5 minutes later, to find an employee telling me that they were closed. Confused, I said that I was just picking up an online order, and again she snapped that they were closed. I’m not sure why the door was unlocked, or why there was an employee there, or why they were accepting online orders if they were supposedly closed???

Decided to give the popeyes fish sandwich a try considering how highly regarded it was. The presentation alone of the sandwich is sad and dull. Just bread, fish, two pickles and whatever scrapings of stuff is with the pickles. Ordered fries and when looking in the deepest part of the bag there they were. I can see why they were at the bottom of the bag because they were colder than a polar vortex. Lastly I decided to add a popeyes biscuit because I remembered how they had one of the best in business. Unfortunately the biscuit I was served must of escaped out of the warmer because it was you guessed it cold.

Sometimes when I work late, I’ll make an online order for dinner, and pick it up on the way home. The chicken part is correct, but my side is always wrong. I get it, I used to work in fast food, and I know mistakes happen. And I know that, as a customer, it’s good practice to always check your order before you leave. Every time I pick up my online order, I stay at the counter and open the bag. The side is always wrong so then I have to wait for someone to see me still standing there and come over and correct it.

we walked to this popeyes in the cold and arrived at 11:30 after seeing online that they closed the inside at 12am. all the doors were locked and as we knocked the outside lights were turned off on us. the door clearly stayed on thursdays they were open until 12am. this is extremely rude and unprofessional and clearly do not care about the satisfaction of their customers. we called to complain and they basically told us, oh well sorry we’ll change it tomorrow. but that doesn’t help us. do better .

Rudest interaction I’ve ever had. The girl working there (no nametag) got my order incorrect, then tossed my orders into a bag. When I asked for my cup she slammed it on the counter. I checked my order before leaving and noticed she gave 2 fries and 1 potato when I ordered 1 fry and 2 potatoes. Her response was “well I can’t take it back” and walked away. I did get the mashed potatoes, but when I got home 2 out of the 3 combos were also missing a biscuit. Absolute trash service.

I went to Popeyes in Milford to see if Popeyes in Connecticut is the same every where else. Maybe with the exception of not playing Professor Longhair or Dr John, Things seemed the same. I purchased the 8 piece nuggets. I also ordered 2 drumsticks spicy. The side order was red beans and rice, As usual, my sauce was the Mardi Gras sauce. The nuggets are pretty goof. The chicken is always good from Popeyes. I do recommend. Happy 50th Birthday

This store consistently closes earlier than the posted hours while still allowing people to place orders! I have now come here three times to pick up Uber orders, currently over an hour before they are supposed to close, and all the lights are off, nobody is here. Very unprofessional and irresponsible!
Why don’t you just change your hours officially if you don’t want to stay open, instead of wasting my time like this? Or turn off the ability to place orders so people aren’t coming here to a closed store? Absolutely ridiculous! Get your shit together!
