This may be my fourth or fifth time returning to the establishment in the last 12 months and the manager that was cashier and at the time remembered my name my order even my sauce this to me was impressive. Great people skills, memory, and customer service thumbs up to Antoine.

Gets a rush of people here and there because buses stops by but other than that it’s a quiet place and cool environment. There is one server thats behind the counter Tall darkskin guy. I didn’t get his name but I overheard people call him Greasy or Greedy. Let me tell you besides him this place is quiet but when he is around he is so loud for no reason he is always yelling and arguing with his coworkers and his service is terrible. He has very bad people skills and you chose this job buddy. If you don’t like to deal with people which I heard him say then get another job. Other than him it’s a great place. Some of the chicken needs to be cleaned better it’s not so good looking inside sometimes but other than that food is really good.

my wife and I go to this location often with no issues, went the other day 09-23-25 went to order our usual all white chicken and I told the server I know it will cost extra and I’m fine with that. the manager who appeared to be on break stopped the server stating this could not be done. I told her I do it all the time and she replied not at this store. which is totally wrong because I’ve had this done at least 10 times. I went to another Popeyes and was served with NO issues..

The chicken sandwiches were alright but the meat was kind of bland on the inside. All the flavor seemed to be on the batter. The soda fountain was dispensing only carbonated water for the diet pepsi and regular pepsi. Sucks there were no other diet soda options, but 3 dispensers for sweetened iced tea!

Food was fine, but service was truly bad. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes before being even acknowledged. Had to request the sauce I wanted 4 times and was still given the wrong sauce until I complained. Staff was annoyed that they didn’t get my order correct. Im sorry that it’s easy to mistake asking for “ranch” as asking for “honey mustard”.

I have been buying food from this restaurant for quite a while. I love Chicken Popeyes, but it seemed for a while now the employees along with the managers they made a pack to make sure they gave me smallest pieces of chicken for my money 14 dollars and change to be exact for a 3 piece meal with mashed potato and gravy and a drink. The way they treat customers the truck drivers who often bought the food could be compare to a beggars. This Popeyes is the one at 1875 Meriden Waterbury turnpike southington CT. I don’t know if they have special preference of whom they choose to serve. As they often say I thought the customer was always right.

Nice enough people, but their beans and rice is all rice, no beans… both containers were like this. It’s bad enough they are more expensive than most Popeyes that are not in a truck stop, but to skimp on the meal isn’t cool.
