We decided to try the infamous chicken sandwich, and waited in line for about 30 minutes because it was packed! The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious! Definitely recommend.

Let’s just start by saying that I wish I could give 0 stars. The lady that checked us out was very kind and did everything right. However after that all went downhill. We were told that we would have to wait 20 minutes to wait for spicy chicken to be made and that was obviously no problem because we’re aware that that’s out of their control and they were on top of getting it out. We then waited over 20 minutes and our order was still not ready. We realized that people who came in after us we’re receiving their meals very quickly ordering spicy chicken. They had disregarded our order and did not feel the need to get us our order. We had to go up to the counter and ask why our order wasn’t ready seeing that they were almost our of spicy chicken again. We ended up receiving the very end of the batch and the worst pieces because they filled everyone else’s orders. We requested some mild chicken as well and they were out of the pieces that we wanted. When all of this was happening they acted like they couldn’t care less and it wasn’t their fault. We received no compensation for our offer being overlooked and having to wait over 45 minutes to get our food that we could’ve gotten in 10 if they felt the need to fill our order. This place has been going downhill for a very long time and has never gotten better.

Chicken is good. We really like the red beans and rice, jambalaya, onion rings, and the apple pie … they put a lot of cinnamon and sugar on them! The service could be better. The lady who took my order was pleasant but very difficult to understand. We worked through it and my order was correct when I got it.

It’s so frustrating! Chicken is awesome, but the consistency is terrible. My first chicken sandwich was awesome. However, the last 2 times the sandwich had no sauce, and one pickle. The second time I asked for lots of sauce and extra pickles. They gave me very little sauce and 2 small pickle slices. Fix the consistency and I would come back a lot.

It’s Popeyes and it’s amazing. Best fast food spicy chicken around. Chick-fil-A is trash! My only complaint is that the oil they use to deep fry the chicken is obviously the same oil they use for the fish. You can taste it in the breading. It’s not pungent (not a fish fan, all fish is pungent) enough to discourage me from a spicy chicken sandwich but definitely noticeable.

I went to Popeye’s after work & placed my order like normal. After I got the food I went home & stepped away to the restroom for not even 3 minutes & our dog ate ALL of the food. I went back to Popeye’s to let them know what happened & Mayan helped me immediately & replaced my food for free! I was willing to pay for the food again, but she still offered it for free anyway! I want to say thank you for being so kind & understanding!! 5 stars goes to Mayan & an excellent team ! 🙂

They don’t give correct portion sizes and if you attempt to ask for a refund, (even without touching the food) they will deny it and tell you to call corporate (who’s number the female manager was either unwilling or unable to provide) if you’d like to complain. The managers operate with near zero oversight and they seem to know that. I will never visit this location again and would recommend that anybody who enjoys good customer service steer clear as well.
