This place had a lot of changes. They had the best food. I previously visited a lot of times, but had worst experience. This time it was awesome. I really liked it. All the crew were super friendly. I had a little wait for the spicy chicken but they gave hot and fresh chicken. I am definitely going back to this place.

Update- stopped back a handful or more times since the last review. All of the orders have had no mess ups, portions have been great, haven’t had a wait inawhile even with a big order I placed. Another star earned.

The girl that waited on me was great. She tried to go out of her way to give me an exceptional experience, but the food was terrible. The fries were rubbery and the sandwich seemed like it was a microwaved sandwich. There was a technical problem with the register. She asked for help from another employee. He seemed annoyed and just fixed the issue. Instead of showing her how to fix it. She seemed that she wanted to know what happened. This could have been a learning opportunity, but the man just didn’t seem to want to be bothered.

I ordered a 2 piece dark meat combo spicy w/beans and rice. I have eaten this meal in numerous Popeyes around the US. This had to have been the worst I’ve had. I got a small chicken leg and a wing. Normally it would be a leg and a thigh, both were overcooked, just thru the wing cuz there wasn’t anything on it to eat. The beans and rice was mainly rice, maybe a tablespoon of beans and the rest was rice. Threw it away too. I was very disappointed. This store will not be open long if they keep serving food like this. Unfortunate, I was super excited when I heard a Popeyes was coming here but now, I’m disappointed.

First time trying popeyes and last sadly. Got a few different items to try, nuggets, tenders, and an 8 piece box, two sides and biscuits. The nuggets were almost all breading, the tenders were hard and had no flavor and the only saving grace was the 8 piece box which wasnt bad. The coleslaw was good and the mashed potatoes had strange chunks of meat in it…so if youre going here for a meal of coleslaw and biscuits…dont.

So I love Popeyes… normally, but I’ve tried going to this location two or three times now… once’s where I literally sat in the drive through while they we’re absolutely open, and got no service, waited about 5 minutes, pulled around to the window, and didn’t see anyone.. there were cars parked in the lot, but I ended up going elsewhere. The other two times.. I thought the food was way more expensive than I remembered, and definitely wasn’t up to par, whether it was under cooked, or overly greasy.. it was just off. Now I can’t say the same about other Popeyes I’ve been too, I typically love their food.

Chicken was good, but the wait was long and they were not even that busy. We got the 8 piece family meal which contained: 1 breast, 3 thighs, 2 legs, and 2 wings with 4 biscuits and one side of Mac and cheese. No drinks and the total was $23.52. Other than the chicken, everything else was so so. Pretty pricey for fast food chicken. I probably will not be back.

Happened to be in Indiana PA at IUP And at night around 10pm found this place is open and rushed there. Which as per Google open till 11pm. I was there and main door locked I saw 2 employee cleaning. I knocked the door and wave to check if open/close/food finished but no response. They ignored me like I was not there. I drove from NY and was hungry. After around 10 minutes and making several attempts to knock and find out I went to the drive through window and still same reaction-“ignored “me . It was upsetting. I was leaving and thought of trying the drive in order . It was open and so I picked up my food . I told them rather than ignoring you would have just mentioned do drive through.

Put in 4 meals, and the kid at the counter couldn’t keep any of it straight, while I was patient with him, it’s frustrating when your 2 kids are hungry. We also waited 10 minutes for our food and it wasn’t busy at all. The food was good, but some of it wad luke warm at best. I keep returning as my oldest loves this place.

Ordered a Mac n cheese in the 6.99 box, which costs extra, so I paid more than 6.99. Waited 20 minutes for my food before I asked them where the order was and they didn’t start it. Then they told me they had no Mac n cheese so I just asked them to refund the Mac n cheese. The employee refused and said I could jsut substitute since it’s “only 2 dollars.” Idk how it’s anyone else’s right to talk to someone else about the value of a dollar but whatever. He claimed there was no manager there I could talk to. Very frustrating experience. Could have been handled better.
