What a lovely spot. Pops donut has a solid variety of donuts, a very kind and efficient staff, and really good tasting donuts. The coffee is okay, but for the price I paid for a medium cappuccino I’m totally find with it. Apple fritter, donut holes, and a medium coffee only cost 6 dollars. Absolutely fantastic price for the quality of the donuts. The donut holes are addictive as well, eat one and it’s over. Great place.

I must say this is the best donut spot! Been coming here for a few years and quite frankly there ain’t nothing better or close to Pop Donuts in BHAM. I feel this place is family owned which is great because that’s better quality on their product. The ladys up front are always in good mood and treat you well. I see reviews complaining about price and little things that don’t deserve much importance. If I don’t like a place or their products I’ll just go somewhere else like Crispy Cream or Daylight Donuts (not) and not hurt leaving a bad review. Anyways check them out. Heads up they close at 1 pm so if you come through at noon they have less selection as all their products are made fresh from scratch. The earlier the better. Say this also because I see some reviews complaining about this. Wake your big back up earlier and come get that variety. Early bird gets the worm.

I visited Birmingham from California for the first time and I’m surprised that their donuts are very soft and they taste great. I can tell the flour they used is top quality and the baker knows what s/he is doing. It’s very hard to find good-tasting donuts these days. Their prices are lower than their competitors. Last but not least, their Kolache does live up to my expectations and what a lot of customers are saying/recommending in their reviews. I bought a dozen each for my family and friends back home.
I would come again if I ever visit Birmingham in the future.

I asked for a half dozen regular cream filled doughnuts, but received Bavarian Cream instead. When I called to let them know and see about getting a refund, I was told “When I’m asked for regular cream, I put Bavarian Cream. And that is the only cream that we have”. I’m no other place are Bavarian Cream and regular cream used interchangeably. If this is the case for them, why not clarify what I was buying when I specified “regular cream” at least 3 times, specifically to avoid this problem. They are also extremely unaccommodating and rude, refusing to give a refund or offering to make the mistake right in any kind of way. Having spent close to $40 on over 2 1/2 dozen doughnuts, you would expect them to try and be more accommodating to their customers.
Kolaches are cheap, cheese filled sausages instead of a quality sausage and melted cheese.
Honestly surprised that they have they high rating they do with subpar ingredients and rude employees. I will have no problem never going back to this awful establishment.

I love, love, love Pop’s! Being that I just discovered this place almost 3 weeks ago and am already a regular should say it all. They have the best pastries I’ve ever had. They beat Krispy Kreme, Dunkin’, and any other place with doughnuts. These are my favorites in the picture below: Blueberry doughnut cakes, plain cake, cinnamon rolls, and the doughnut twists. If you are ever on the Parkway, you should definitely try them out. Open 7 days a week from 6 AM until 3 PM.

This is the best donut shop I’ve visited in a while! The Maple Bacon was delicious. My kids enjoyed the plain glaze and frosted oreo cookie the best. Their breakfast croissants are really good too! Way to go Centerpoint!

I like sweets a little more than I should. They are open from 6a.m. until 2p.m. six days a week & 5a.m. until 2p.m. on (Sunday). Either way, no matter what day you choose, you are in for a fresh variety that will never disappoint, ( well, the disappointment comes when all of the goodness is gone). Donut holes, breakfast biscuits, bear claws, kolashes, and about 12 other varieties are offered here, again, you will be satisfied with the prices and the freshness. You had better get here early, because after 11a.m., there isn’t much left to choose from, nonetheless, you will not be disappointed, unless they ran out of what you wanted.

A wonderful affordable donut shop that does not get the attention it deserves. Staff are always friendly and there’s always goodies available.

Stopped Christmas morning and got donut holes and a mixed box. The apple fritters are AMAZING. All of the ones we had were fresh and super light and fluffy. These are the best donuts we’ve had in Birmingham.

A week ago I would have told you that I got the best doughnut of my life 48 years then this week I went back to pick some up for my family and they were scarcely filled and bland I don’t know what happened in a week’s time but I might as well of gone to Krispy Kreme and I never go there. Not sure if I will give pops another chance
