I got the Pecan Waffle breakfast with eggs over easy, sausage patties, home fries, and my friend got a veggie omelette

It was SUPER busy due to it being a holiday but we didn’t have to wait for our booth, and only had to wait a few minutes to get our waters and my coffee

Their coffee is very decent coffee, nothing mind blowing and very normal tasting which is perfect for a diner coffee it’s BLAZING hot so be careful!! I had to keep adding ice cubes from my water to my coffee but I’m not complaining, hot coffee is awesome!

My eggs over easy were cooked perfectly

Potatoes were decent normal fried potatoes

Sausage patties were good

The Pecan Waffle was DELIGHTFUL. very yummy and crispy and the inside was light and tender.

I appreciate that the food is a tiny bit undersalted but has good flavor, I just had to add a bit of table salt and it was perfect. I think this is a very positive thing, its objectively healthier for people to be able to add their own salt at the table and not have to specifically ask for a low salt meal.

The diner is 53 years and running so expect a very cozy classic American diner environment with seasonal decor. The tables and chairs have a gorgeous worn down appearance but everything is very clean and well loved.

Most of the other diners were elderly couples, or very large multi family groups which I assumed were holiday visitors. I felt a bit out of place being one of the youngest couples in there, but the wait staff were very friendly and attentive

The dining area is MASSIVE, there is plenty of booth and table seating, and there is enough space for groups of 12+ people to push tables together and eat together

The prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes, not inexpensive but not overpriced at all.

If y’all are looking for a very comfy and normal American Diner experience this is absolutely it. I so appreciate that they aren’t trying to do anything touristy or over the top, it’s just really good American Diner food and a cozy American Diner environment

Bonus points because they have multiple awards showing their dedication to charity and helping Military Veterans.

Bring your whole family here for breakfast!

Saturday morning visit, first visit. No wait for a party of six. The food was good overall. Multiple people ordered the home fries and somehow one order was cold. The server did bring a hot order out as a replacement. You’re able to grab additional condiments from nearby carts that also have to go containers. It is a family spot so at times it was noisy but overall the noise level was fine. Good home cooked breakfast.

My first time to this local diner that serves breakfast all day long along with traditional American cuisine. The menu was pretty extensive! Lots of wonderful choices! I went with a group from work and was tempted to get the chicken fried steak but had just eaten that somewhere else a few days earlier so I opted for a bacon burger and wrinkle cut fries and sweet tea. The burger was juicy and not over cooked and was topped with lettuce, tomato and onions. Service was great!! Friendly and attentive folks!!

Several of my coworkers got breakfast items and generally were pleased except the one who ordered steak and eggs as the steak was over done and a little dry. Another had the “regular” chicken fried steak and couldn’t finish it but liked it a lot!

So very disappointed. Came in for breakfast on a Sunday and it was a super cute hole in the wall breakfast diner feel! However… The food was about as bad as it could be. I ordered the chopped steak and eggs… I don’t know why she asked how I wanted it cooked because what I got was a burger patty. It wasn’t bad enough that it was an overcooked frozen burger patty .. it was totally bland/unseasoned. The home fries were the worst I think I’ve ever had to be honest… Also completely unseasoned and chopped to different sizes so as to overcook some and be mushy. The biscuit was clealy a frozen one as well and barely a biscuit in that it didn’t have buttery/flaky layers and was more of a roll. The eggs were actually okay.

These spots you kinda expect a certain level of friendly charm in the service, and it was just not. Not bad service, just not a friendly, local vibe.

With the prices matching all the more trendy/hip breakfast spots … This place is definitely NOT worth the money

This is a great place to eat. My parents and I go here occasionally and I’ve never had a bad plate of food. Customer service is top-notch and will return again. Some Saturdays can be extremely busy, so prepare for a line at the door. However it’s worth the wait.

By far the MOST delicious country gravy I have ever had, most of the time country gravy tastes like bland thick watery flour. This was the right amount of thickness and flavorful. The country fried steak was crispy and NOT greasy, as were the crispy home fries. Also for a place with carpet interior, this place was CLEAN. And that’s coming from someone with asthma who is sensitive to any dust. Definitely coming back.

This is my favorite breakfast place. The prices are better than everywhere else. The menu is big. The food is delicious. We get here at about 10 on Sunday and there’s plenty of seating before it starts filling up. It’s usually packed by the time we leave. It’s a real mix of people here but we all like the same thing: good food at a good price.

OMG. What a find! The Texas family-restaurant tradition is alive and well here in Plano. The staff are some of the best I’ve seen anywhere. Most have been with the restaurant for a long time. They offer traditional
country breakfast and lunch, and they know how to prepare it. You just tell’em what you want and how you want it and you’ll get it. Really great coffee, too.

Oh my gosh. This is the best breakfast brunch place in Dallas! Every time I come here to visit my sister from California I stop here for breakfast. You cannot come to Dallas/Plano and not eat here.

Best service, best food. Best coffee. Long lines waiting but it’s definitely worth it.
