This is a Local Favorite and I can see why! Great little place with friendly staff and great food!
What you need to know-
*There is no wait list and no reservations. First come first serve. You show up and wait in line. Line moves pretty fast though so no worries.
*Probably not somewhere I would go with a large group.
* Staff is friendly and got our order
*You can ask for Real Maple Syrup if you dont want the corn syrup and they will bring it out for you!
*Food was tasty, hot, and came out quickly
Only reason for the 4 stars on the service is we were seated and then 4 other tables were seated after us and 2 of those were tended to and ordered before us. We had to get another staff member to find us a waiter. It did seem like potentially there was not enough servers so maybe someone was sick. It seemed like a fluke with all things considered.
And to management!- Who ever the pretty lady is that was running food with the long brown hair – you need to pay her more! She was attentive, proactive, pleasant to deal with and her customer service skills were on point.

the best breakfast in the area ❤️ today our car alternator died right after we placed a takeout order. we called to cancel, and they delivered the food to us, while it was snowing out i am so grateful for the kind people that work at this restaurant, especially the man who brought our food to us with a big smile on his face. thank you guys, you truly made our day & got us through a hard time. we already loved it here before, but we’ll be lifetime customers now!

Kaitlyn is a gem. First time coming in the other day, and was immediately charmed by our server. Amazing sense of humor and delightful personality made lunch absolutely amazing – the food aside, which was also delicious. The tumbleweeds (thinly sliced fried onion ribbons) are so good and well-seasoned, though I’m not sure if you’re supposed to eat them with your hands or your fork (I’ll assume I amused folks watching me attempt to swirl it like spaghetti). Best burger he’s had in a fair minute. It was an amazing find! $42 for 2 people was an absolute steal for the amount of food, even my turkey club made two meals. I will absolutely go back, and y’all are 2 hours away from us. Spectacular job, guys.

This diner is great. We came in during breakfast. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and amazing service. Our waitress Alex was great. She was very attentive, nice, kept making sure we were doing okay and our drinks were always filled. The food came out super fast less than 5 minutes after ordering. My husband and I both got the country fried steak and eggs. Big portions with 2 sides. The French toast was also really good, we got the Texas version. Inside the diner is very clean and the ambience of the lighting I liked for early morning, dim lighting not too bright with cute decor on the walls. I don’t think this is intended for semi trucks but there is some parking in the back suitable for truck parking. Maybe 5-6 trucks can park in the unpaved part in the back. Wish we could stay longer bc I would love to try the lunch/dinner menu.

Great place. Good atmosphere. Great food. I had a grilled chicken cob salad. This is a great option for those of us watching our carb intake. Also, I had to take half of it home because they give you plenty. Our server was Kaitlyn. Very professional and if you meet her you may think she looks and sounds like Miley Cyrus. Well at least she does for me. Anyway, if you haven’t yet gone to Poor Boy’s you really need to. Oorah!

Got kids pancakes for the kids and Salisbury steak for myself.
The pancakes were delicious and large portions. They were served with bacon with a choice of milk or juice. Bacon was good quality and were large pieces.
Salisbury steak was delicious and large portions. The gravy wasn’t salty and full of flavor. The meal also came with a choice of side salad or soup, and fries.
There is lots of parking and the interior is cozy and clean. Our waitress was nice and did a great job.
One last thing that made this whole experience even better are the prices. Low prices for a lot of high quality home cooked food. You can’t beat it.
My kids loved it as well and asked if we can come back again soon.

The food is good but very overpriced for breakfast. $7 for a side of “homemade hash” which was canned hash is extremely expensive.
It’s a cute little dinner that’s been around forever! Definitely need to replace the booth cushions. They are just as old as the dinner and incredibly uncomfortable.
Our server was very sweet and attentive. The sausage gravy was absolutely delicious!!!

It’s different than any other diners that I’ve visited; it actually has food that’s kind of good. The burgers there are quite delicious. And the atmosphere is not really that bad, quite normal and calm, nothing too serious. I would recommend eating there it’s not always too busy, but I wouldn’t recommend eating the macaroni and cheese too garlicky. But I would like some of the steak food. But I would recommend their new burger boy stack; it is quite delicious. Visit whenever you come there, it’s not always too busy.
