I have loved pony express ever since I was a kid. Unfortunately, over time it just kind of … fell off a bit. But I just went back since the new owners and I’m SUPER impressed! The menu had new items and the staff was awesome and even helped me get the best things for my money, AND it was super fast with quality still intact! I was so glad to see it so loaded down with my choice toppings without having to say “extra” and getting extra up-charges . And BOGO still stands! Same classic style of pizza, but I’m pretty sure I tasted a little love in there.

I had to delete my bad review from where Dabbs owned the place. The new owners are fantastic! Great friendly service and back to being open 7 days a week! They even added new items to the menu. Awesome job guys! Im so glad this place was brought back to life!

Very unimpressed with the phone call experience I just had..I was told it was 30 dollars for one large pizza..which means it’s not a buy one get one free they are 15 a piece..won’t be ordering there!! And I literally just called a whole 2 mins ago!!

Had to go back and delete my last review from a year ago. The new owners have turned Pony Express back to what it used to be, plus more. From better hours, to better food. And the wonderful owners that bring smiles to your experience. I work for HWU and eat the lunch special almost weekly, along with my co workers. And the lunch special is the best in town for a quick bite with a small budget. The owners engage with you while you wait for your order, vs feeling like your standing there awkwardly. Im so glad to have the best pizza place in town back on top. See yall soon!!!!!

This place used to be extremely exclusive, you could only get food from there if they randomly happen to be open and the only way to know if they were open was to drive there and see for yourself.
It gave the place a real vibe that only us exclusive folks who understood the mysterious and confusing business model were worthy of those breadsticks.
Now they have new owners who have spoiled all the fun by “answering the phone” or “being open on a consistent schedule”
Well enjoy the great food Henderson, but just know, you didn’t earn it!

Pony Express is by far the best pizza joint in town! Cooked to perfection, you can clearly tell that they use the absolute best and most fresh ingredients. Service was very quick and timely. Also, Annie, Angie, and their staff are so friendly and generous! Most definitely give this place a try if you haven’t already!

Me and my family have been ordering from piny express ever since I was 5. The food is great and the service is even better! Very much recommend this to people visiting Henderson as it’s been my go to for years, going from pizza Thursdays to special occasions like my birthday when we moved!
