Stopped in for a carry out. Servers were friendly and the restaurant clean. Ordered an 8″ Ham sub. Bread was fresh. However, ingredients outside of lettuce were as skimpy as possible. One thin layer of meat. Not even enough meat for a 4″ sub. As I comped my final bill with tax and tip and thought about other area meals, this skimpy sandwich is a very poor value.

This is the 2nd time Pontiac House of PIZZA has messed up pizza when we’ve ordered from them. The first time I did not do a review because it was made right and there is always a chance for a mistake. This time, they forgot to add the green peppers, but realized it before giving us the pizza, so they just threw raw green peppers on top of the pizza and put it under some kind of heat for a few seconds. Clearly, as the pictures show, it was not the same as making a pizza with the correct ingredients as ordered, and instead of remaking the pizza, they tried to pass off trash of a fix. Additionally, the pizza did not taste good, they barely put any sauce on it, and it was as dry as cardboard. Again, one would think the Pontiac House of PIZZA could at least get pizza right.

This is one of our favorite places to eat for pizza in columbia. This time, I tried the spaghetti (need more seasoning), but it was hot and a lot of food for 1 person. Always friendly service. Highly recommended for pizza.

I had really good food there in the past.
Unfortunately, today, I decided to try their famous Philly steak sandwich.
Never in my life have I ever seen white steak or in chunks?
I asked the waitress if they could please tell me that they made a mistake and gave me chicken in error, scary to say she said no, that’s steak.
That is not steak.
Steak is red meat, not white meat, unless it’s sat out for a long time.
So, unfortunately, it seems like they feed me a bad batch of red meet.

I DO NOT recommend this establishment due to a recent unsatisfactory experience. While attempting to place an order for a Greek gyro with American cheese, the gentleman taking my order questioned whether American cheese could be added. I mentioned that I regularly order this item and asked why there was an issue. He explained that the owner occasionally declines to add cheese, citing that it is his restaurant and he can make such decisions. I immediately expressed my surprise. After being placed on hold, he returned to state that he could accommodate my request on this occasion. Nevertheless, I decided not to place the order and ended the call. If this is a common practice, I foresee a decline in their business, and I will not be supporting them again. Excellent customer service should be a priority and not optional!!

While not my favorite pizza, this is a solid choice for a local pizza place. There are a good number of Greek inspired dishes on the menu that I have yet to try but look quite good.

My only complaint is that I wish they offered their sandwiches in a larger size, in addition to their 8 inch options. I have only tried the philly cheesesteak, which while not amazing, was of reasonably good quality.

The chicken souvlaki wasn’t the best and the chicken was very dry. The greek salad wasn’t very authentic, but the in-house greek dressing tasted good and the veggies were fresh

We usually pick food up via the drive thru. Always great flavor and filling. I had a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The crust soft and chewy, not overly cooked. The toppings were even distributed and it was just enough cheese.
My daughter had the Greek chicken with yellow rice and onions/peppers. She said the chicken was seasoned and paired well with the rice and veggies. If you’re an onions and peppers person, you would definitely enjoy this as they give you plenty!

Great good and customer service. The quality of food is wonderful, the salads are so fresh, the meals are very wholesome. They verify your name and number for your orders and the drive thru option makes it an awesome way to get a wholesome meal on the go for lunch or dinner. We find ourselves ordering to go from here often, the average wait time is15 to 20 minutes for call in orders, and our orders have been correct every single time. Their staff does an excellent job, it’s quite busy there, but they keep up with the demand, are professional and make the process easy, so you’re in and out.

Starting off with the good… the house dressing and marinated grilled chicken is consistently really good here. However I feel pretty nickel and dimed by this establishment. I feel it’s fine to charge for extra dressing or chicken or a house made sauce. When you offer a “salad” with these portions of toppings it’s really just a bowl of lettuce. I figured the second time around I would just ask for extra cucumber and bell pepper, they tried charging me $5!!! 2.50 for cucumber and 2.50 for bell pepper. Honestly insane! Didn’t even tell me over the phone until I arrived in person. Next time I will just purchase your dressing and make my own salad!!! I’m done with this. Each veggie is cut so thinly it’s literally a slither. Photo for reference.
