Bay City Ponderosa buffet was very good. They have a nice variety of food on display and is prepared well. I was there for quite a long time and observed their continued cleaning of the food area. After I had gotten my food I sat down and noticed that a gentleman that works there named Bo was continuously cleaning the floor the tables the chairs. Even though he was doing all the cleaning he was also waiting the tables and was very attentive. My water was half week gone and he’d already delivered another water for me. Plenty of napkins and asked if I found everything okay. And check out my pictures of all the food. I especially enjoyed The fried pollock. This is a definite return place. This would be great for families with kids. I’m finished everything off with a peach cobbler that was delicious.

Yummy!!! I haven’t been to a Ponderosa in years, honestly didn’t know any were left. This location is in Bay City right off of I-75 and is a welcome and updated blast from the past! The adult buffet was 15.99 and I added bourbon chicken wings with steak fries for an extra $1…in which I was able to take home since I was full from the buffet. They had other meat options you could add to the buffet. But honestly, the buffet was enough! They had catfish, baked bone in chicken and fried chicken plus a ton of sides. My sons loved the food and ate til they were full, and one is super picky. Our waitress was very nice, attentive and kept our drinks full. Recommend!

Loved coming across this one that’s still open. Miss having them around Grand Rapids Michigan area . Was a fabulous meal and well stocked and clean buffet. Brought back lots of ol memories from years past dinning at them regularly.

Good spot if you want a lot of food for affordable price. You get what you pay for. Cheap food for a decent price. Salad bar, fried fish, baked chicken, quesadillas, desserts and more. You can also order a la carte + all you can eat. Friendly service and place seems well maintained.

Everything was clean, the food was kept up and fresh on the buffet. My husband’s birthday dinner he chose Pondo. We all grew up on it and who knows how long this final location will be around. Ill be honest, the last 3 years we have gone maybe 3 or 4 times and always left disappointed. But we were pleasantly surprised today!! My husband ordered the beef sirloin tips with onion and mushrooms with a baked potato. Kids and I got the buffet. Everything was fresh and delicious! Happy we decided to try one more time!

Wow I haven’t been to a Ponderosa Steakhouse in nearly 20 years. It was amazing. The chicken wings, the sundae bar, the steaks were just the way I remember them. The nearest one is nearly two hours away from me but I was in Bay City on business and made it a point to stop in. Glad I did. For a Monday it was packed. Easy to see why, the food was great.

Every time my family comes to Ponderosa. It’s always great. We always get the Buffay and everybody leaves with happy bellies. One of these times we actually do got a order a steak or something but definitely will continue to keep going
