OMG I went to Freeway Cafe on Sheridan today and ALL of my food was good, hot and fresh. Absolutely Delicious! The cook came from out the back and I told him you Did an Amazing job, that food was DELICIOUS! I had the grilled pork chops with home style potatoes, eggs and a Huge pancake that was sooooo good. From the moment I walked in Shea greeted me and made me feel at home. She was so sweet, professional and kind. We talked and laughed. I felt like I knew her for forever. She made sure if I needed a water refill and if I was good the whole time I was there. She was very attentive but not overbearing. All of the staff were Awesome! I’ll definitely be going back soon.

Wow was this good. Freeway Cafe was great! We tried a bit of everything in order to truly review it and wow… currently second guessing my decisions on how much i just ate. We tried the Appetizer platter and the Mozzarella sticks and Green fried tomatoes are a MUST HAVE! the ranch and maranara sauce was so good. We tried the Chicken fried chicken and Chicken fried steak and smached potatoes and both were top notch! So many options to go with! MUST TRY. I rate overall a 8.7/10.

My family and I had multiple meals here and the staff were warm, friendly and welcoming. The coffee is amazing and the food was incredibly delicious. The cinnamon rolls are HUGE! The biscuits and dinner rolls are baked fresh and you can tell. They have real butter and were happy to accomodate my Mother’s carnivore diet. We were even offered help with something unrelated to dining when the waitress overheard my Mother trying to get some quotes for car maintenance. Barbara, we are SO sorry we didn’t get to see you again before we had to leave town! We appreciate your kindness and compassion more than you know.❤️ We left wishing there were Freeway Cafes in our home state of WA.

Freeway Cafe has a great old-fashioned cafe atmosphere. There were four different dishes for our 4-person group on our way to a local concert. I had boneless fried chicken strips. The dinner entrees for the others were roast beef, meatloaf and open face roast beef with sides. All the portions were ample or huge and everything well seasoned, hot and fresh. We all four took to-go containers home, there was so much food. You can see Freeway has a loyal following as it was busy with regulars but service was still attentive. The restrooms were also well maintained and clean. Freeway was definitely a positive-plus dining experience.

The food is a pretty standard diner offering. There’s nothing really special about the menu but the food is yummy. The atmosphere is fun with route 66 themes throughout and lots of cool toy cars surrounding the tables. The staff is very friendly, service is prompt and accurate and prices are reasonable. We live close by and Freeway Cafe has become a family favorite for Saturday mornings.

We have always enjoyed eating at the freeway but things changed today. I made the mistake of ordering beef taco salad. It was way to salty. Had to ask for salsa 2x no sour cream but there was an ample amount of guacamole. The shell as well as the meat was well beyond being done and overpriced. The workers were great and very attentive. We wont be back. The worst dining out experience ever. Made a bowl of cornflakes look good. Just stay away from taco salad.

Love my neighborhood Freeway. It’s our goto place for variety and simple meals. Casual atmosphere, and it’s easy for a party with diverse food tastes to all get something satisfying. Mom loves the catfish, I highly recommend the meatloaf or or pork chops!

We ordered chicken fried steak, pork chop and cat fish. All 3 were out of this world!!! There were 3 sides for each meal. Everything was the best food we had ever eaten! The wait staff was amazing! The rolls were so good!! Strongly recommend if you are in the area you will not be sorry!

I would have liked to have eaten there tonight but after sitting there with my daughter for 15 minutes and no one offered to take as much as a drink order. A person came in after us and was served immediately. Funny thing is she walked right passed us to serve him . Big foul.
