A great choice if you just can’t decide what you want to eat. The fried wings and drummies are great. My only wish is that the Mac and Cheese had some flavor. Location is convenient to shopping and right of the interstate.

First time at this location. Great experience. The manager Tom was at register and took my order. Had a good conversation with him about Ponderosa. I grew up on Ponderosa.
If you have never had their chopped steak cooked no more than medium…. Go there now. It has a flavor all its own.
Now I like 25+ dollar real quality new york strips the best… but I often crave a Ponderosa chopped steak.
Server was great. Staff was on top of the bar continually restocking items.

Our local Ponderosa is no longer available… So I was great when we saw this off the exit on our way home. The food was what you expect for a Ponderosa. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The food was refilled quickly and they even brought us out a dessert that wasn’t available. We were happy with our experience.

We went as a nostalgic venture since these have long departed from our state in our childhood. The layout, contents of its buffet, and probably the actual furniture was exactly as it was in the 90s. The food was… Acceptable, mostly. Staff was pleasant. I’m certainly not shocked why so many of these have gone outta business, however.

Thank you to the owner, the staff, the managers and all the employees over the years that did such a great job keeping Ponderosa here for families to enjoy for so many decades. I have so many good memories of Ponderosa. Chopped Steak was something I bought all the time as it was cooked to perfection. Lots of food and desserts at Ponderosa backed up to homemade and done with some history behind the recipes.

A redesigned modern buffet steakhouse. They have revamped the interior and buffet line to a much needed, more in style, cabin feel at this location. We visited at 18:30(6:30pm) on a Sunday. All the food was hot, fresh looking, and well taken care of. No burnt,cold or tired looking food in sight. All pots of food were clean and well presented. Friendly staff and clean store. We would definitely go back. A+

Meat about the quality of the “L” steakhouse. The service was good, friendly, and the buffet was hot, fresh, good. So much so that I had to take the meal home. The wings are great at the buffet and bought some for our halloween party and they were loved. Overall this is a great go to when you can’t decide what you want to eat. Try it, you will most likely go back.

Its one of the few left. I read some great reviews so I thought while in the area I would give it a shot. The food was your typical Buffett. However, mashed potatoes tasted instant, the corn had been soaking so long it was twice the size, meatloaf was dried out. I had hoped for some fried chicken that everyone talked about but there were just wings and they left a lot to be desired. Decent server.
