The gelato was so good and authentic! I got a small banana cream pie and cantaloupe mix, and I would totally recommend getting the waffle wafer. The staff were SO nice and friendly, and the atmosphere and decor was really cute!

Having a stroll early evening around downtown Westerly, RI,before taking in a play at the local theater. Most of the businesses were already closed, and we happened upon this wonderful place. The flavors of Gelato were diverse and rich in taste, where all the customers’ needs and palates were exceeded! Strongly recommended, and please try it out, you will not be disappointed!

Went there for my first time earlier today and I got to say it was a treat! Just enough sweetness and the pomegrante was not overly sour. The pomegranate was balanced throughout my taste buds. You would expect the “caramel” apple to be very sweet but certainly not in this case! I also got the cake by the sea which was also balanced between the cake flavor and the gelato. Much better than the ones at the grocery story which we should expect from homeade.

We hired Pompelmo Gelato to cater dessert for our wedding and I cannot recommend them enough. Melanie was kind, professional, and excellent at communication. We went in to the shop for a tasting and were blown away with how delicious all the different flavors were. We had a hard time narrowing it down to only four flavors. The gelato cart was adorable and a huge hit to all our guests.

I have visited Westerly every summer for years and discovered Pompelmo a few years ago. The gelato and sorbets are uniformly awesome. Lots of dairy free options. Flavors seem to change daily, so we keep coming back. The vegan chocolate sorbets is incredible.

Pompelmo Gelato is a quaint little shop with the best Gelato I have ever had. I’ve noticed most come in for a cone or cup of the freshly made goodness but I do implore you to try it as a shake. My go to is the Cremé Brulee and it is heavenly. The couple who own and run it are friendly and will greet you with a smile and the place is emaculate.
