Good value for the price. We stopped on our way to the Hawaiian Volcano National Park. They were very accommodating because we wanted to eat a little bit of food and take the rest as takeout. But they still gave us plates and steel utensils to eat at the restaurant along with the takeout containers. They were very kind. Thank you.

Use to go here a lot when they were called Kows restaurant. For a time the new owners (Poly Feng) kept the old menu which was good, but later down the road they stopped doing dishes from the old menu. Tried their new menu and things are just not the same and some of the stuff was tasteless.

Probably my most favorite Chinese restaurant. I was so sad he had to close due to a fire, but they’re OPEN AGAIN!! I enjoy almost all the dishes I’ve tried here. They offer a lunch buffet now too. We had dinner this particular trip.

stopped by this Chinese restaurant on a whim and was really glad I did! I ordered the sesame balls and the house special fried rice — both were delicious. The sesame balls were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the fried rice was packed with different proteins and fresh veggies. Super flavorful and the portions was nice!✨

The two ladies working there, Miss Lin and Miss Li, were so friendly and sweet. We chatted a bit while I waited, and they even gave me a few mini zongzi to try — also really tasty! Great food, great service, and such a warm vibe. Definitely coming back.

This is a true local neighborhood Chinese restaurant- GEM!

First, the restaurant was very CLEAN! Service staff were polite and very courteous. The menu had a variety of selections- even for vegetarians!

Being an opportunivore, I ordered way more than I could eat- and it was all worth it! The food was flavorful and fresh. The portions more than expected; very well price!

I plan to be a regular patron of this gem of a neighborhood Chinese restaurant!

Not many Chinese buffets (that we’ve found) on the island. We went in about 12:30, wasn’t busy at all. Nice selection of fresh food. Staff was super friendly. Definitely a saved spot!

If we lived nearby we would have just found our new favorite Chinese restaurant – it’s delicious and the portions are generous!

Unless you order a plate (choice of about 7 dishes) everything on the menu is a la cart. The two dinners we ordered, Cantonese Shrimp with a sweet and sour sauce and salt and pepper chicken wings were flavorless. Both were fried very crispy but not enough spice to make it worthwhile. The veggies with the shrimp were almost raw (green pepper, carrots, and onion). I had to add two passings of soy sauce to my chicken wings to add SOME flavor. Sad. There is no atmosphere, just tables and chairs; no music. The picture on the wall by our table was dripping with something brown on the glass–made it hard to see the beautiful artwork underneath. The saving grace was our waitress, Mary Lou, who recognized my neighbor from her other job at Panda Express. She was timely, pleasant, and conscientious. I guess you get what you pay for. But you would think for $18-19 a dish (a la cart–we didn’t order white rice; fried rice or noodles were not options), it would have SOME flavor. Don’t bother going–I wouldn’t have even given it one star but couldn’t post my disappointment without it. Plus, it was a Saturday night and the place was empty except for a birthday party in the back of the restaurant. No handicapped parking and not wheelchair accessible. Don’t know until you try, right?

We’re from LA and had lunch at 12:30 pm on a Thursday and it’s our first time dining in this restaurant. My husband and I aren’t too crazy with their selections . We know they open at 10AM but looking at the entrees , they’ve been seating out for sometime and doesn’t look fresh . The fried shrimp was good and that’s all we loved at this place! The food were not warm enough too .
Not much dessert offered – only have fried bean sesame balls .
The place was clean I would say

My family, friends and I love eating at Poly Feng Yuan. I love the owner Lynn and her staff. Mary Lou, Lijuan, Allyza, Vincy, Arvia & Shelia are fabulous waitresses and kitchen help. These women are just part of the crew of this fabulous restaurant. I have asked Lynn if I could have her clam shells to create some awesome products. Here are just some of the products I have created: earrings, pendants, butterfly magnets, angel ornaments and pins. If you haven’t gone to eat here as yet, please give them a try and tell them that Dwyna Potter sent you
