We hadn’t eaten here in a while.
In the past we had always really enjoyed whatever we ordered.
Today was disappointing. We both ordered items we’d had in the past. This time the food was bland. The refried beans were watery.
The corn tortillas at least were very good.
We also were ignored a bit by our waitress, who kept going to visit with other tables. When she brought our check, she didn’t ask if we wanted anything else or ask if we wanted a box for my leftovers.
My husband had to ask someone else for a box when he went to pay.
We’ve been eating at Polo’s for many years. Sadly this might be the last time.

This is the best small town, locally owned restaurant! The food is amazing and the owner is the one doing the cooking! My family has been coming here since it opened, and the food never disappoints!

This is a small cafe where you often find the locals. The owner is a wonderful gentleman that often meets and talks to the customers whenever there is a pause in the orders, especially when there are sports games on the TV to watch.
The food is standard Mexican/American homestyle cooking that never disappoints and your coffee cup is never empty. It’s the type of cafe where your parents used to take you when they wanted to eat out.
The restaurant also helps local artists and I enjoy the art that is displayed and some pieces are even available for sale.
