Awesome experience here today Thursday around 10 am. Party of two.

Inside and outside seating available, plenty of parking!

They make their own bread and their own pastries. Loved it! The bread was so good. Tasty and soft.

Clean restaurant, prices are good. Quality of food is excellent, and is quantity is ok. You won’t be disappointed.

Staff were great. Marta, our waitress was fantastic, friendly, and kind. And Pasqual, cashier, was welcoming and helpful. Very welcoming people.

They make biscuits, different types of breads, different types of pie, cookies, different types of muffins, cornbread, and burger buns.

Awesome experience for our first time, definitely recommended!

We traveled to Southern California to be able to spend time with my wife’s soon to be 105 year old aunt. We choose Polly’s Pies in Laguna Woods, because we all are fans of Polly’s, yes because of the great pies, but also because they have a very good menu, especially for breakfast and brunch. Aunty chose their chicken nuggets, which she all but finished, I chose that hot chocolate and an omelet, and someone chose a chicken sandwich. Our waitress was excellent, very accommodating and kind. She listened carefully even with all of the time we took in deciding, lol. The food was quite good, and this particular location is open, clean and inviting. The service was friendly, fast and we took our time to enjoy our time together. Our waitress regularly checked in with us to make sure our needs were fulfilled. I think this is one of the best of their locations, abs we have enjoyed several others. The parking was close and easy. Highly recommend

I didn’t realize this place was a chain but this review is for the Laguna Woods location. The bakery is impressive with breads, pieces and the best bran muffins you’ll ever have. My breakfast was the loco moco with beef patty and egg. Single egg so it was on the smaller side but still tasty. I wanted the gravy on the side and was pleased. The best part was option of bran muffin for the bread Yummy.

We went for their breakfast special. The food wasn’t bad but I hated it that they served us donut holes and told us those are pancake bites that we ordered. Look at the pictures. Don’t treat your customers like idiots who can’t tell apples from orange. I didn’t want to make a scene and accept the food but I know what you’re trying to do.

WHO STOLE THE CHERRIES?!?!

I walked into Polly’s today floored with how busy they were! I was greeted warmly and my name was put down for a booth. It didn’t take long for the manager, George, to seat me. I ordered a delicious French toast breakfast with a slice of cherry pie for dessert. My server, Grant, was very honest & helpful. Everything was perfect until the cherry pie was served. What happened to the cherries?!?!

Disappointed I called for the manager to inquire about who stole my cherries!?!? I showed him a pic I took last month .. same location and same slice of cherry pie. George was very attentive & seemed genuinely concerned . He explained that the pies came from off-site and he couldn’t answer as to why there was a big difference between the cherry full slice from NOV vs my CHERRY LESS pie slice from DEC. He made it right for a customer!

I really appreciate the food quality and service at Polly’s. Thank you Grant & George for taking great care of your customers!

There was a mix up with my onlone order (3rd party) and the manager was SO great! Todd took care of everything and made it a great transaction. My family and I love coming here. Everything is SO good. I highly recommend Pollys! And definitely get a pie to go!

First visit, I got the Chicken Fried steak and mashed potatoes.
All good quality, although I thought the dinner rolls tasted a little like a biscuit, but still OK. The boysenberry pie was very good, as expected.
Table server was a little surly at first, but later got better.

Everything is fresh! Sitting down to a meal here is like going home to Grandmas house! The breads are all made here, in house, in their own bakery!! The hamburger buns, the sandwich bread, the rolls …. you name it. Its not mass produced and delivered on a truck. We had the Thanksgiving leftovers sandwiches and oh my goodness it was amazing!! The hand carved turkey was moist and full of flavor, the stuffing was soft and flavorful in more ways than I can describe, the cranberries were absolutely wonderful!! The ice tea is so fresh and delicious it doesn’t need lemon or sweetener.
The waitor was super helpful and attentive, the manager was incredibly helpful. My daughters birthday coupon had expired but he was very helpful in making everything work out for us.
HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE RESTROOMS ARE NOT HANDICAP OR ELDERLY ACCESABLE!! BUILDERS, ARCHITECTS, RESTRAUNT OWNERS AND MANAGERS GET A CLUE!!
I am wheelchair bound and find that public restrooms are only accessible if you have an escort! I challenge all of the people listed above to sit in a wheelchair and access the restroom without an escort!

While visiting this wonderful restaurant, when my daughter went to wash up there was a pair of elderly women who could not get OUT of the restroom because the door was too heavy. My daughter asked how they got in and they told her an employee held the door open for them to enter.

California ADA bathroom requirements are not being met in most restaurants and should include doors that swing both ways to allow wheelchair bound people easy access! Doors are too heavy for the elderly.

I was disappointed with our visit to Polly’s. Having heard a lot about this diner, I had higher hopes. Service was great but the pies were pretty awful. The chicken pie came out tepid and the crust pretty soggy. Didn’t taste fresh at all. Sad times. Dessert pie was also pretty soggy. Please serve fresher! Thanks.

I hidden gem which was just what I needed after waiting for a very long time at the DMV. Spoiler alert: everything I tried was amazing, and I didn’t even try the pies! (Which is what this restaurant is known for).

This restaurant has a wide variety of meals as is accustomed with most diners. I got the Salisbury steak while my dad got the pimento cheese, both were amazing. For desert we shared a giant cinnamon roll which was spectacular. Even the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with all the unique retro-ish posters. A hidden gem I definitely recommend!
