Went during the week in a friday night very relaxed environment. Not sure if they are busier in the morning or on weekends. Nobody was in line. They close earlier than Dennys or Norms. Food here was delicious in comparison. Bread and baked goods were the best. Chocolate chip penaut butter cookies were delicious. I would recommend. Must get here early if you want the prime rib special they have all weekend long.

I’m not going to let the atmosphere impact the overall rating. It’s not the business’s fault that the elderly clientele here tend to be rude and/or clueless of their surroundings.
The food was phenomenal as always. The prime rib dip is to die for. I also highly recommend the pimento cheese dip. The bottomless mimosas were bottomless, but you can’t taste anything other than orange juice. For $15 I think it’s still worth it.
Our server, Jessica, was amazing. She was very attentive, and was dealing with a lot of tables. She has been our server a few times, and I don’t think I’ve had better service anywhere in the country.
The host clearly doesn’t like his job based on how he interacts with the patrons, but it’s understandable. I’d also be kind of annoyed if I had to deal with elderly people seating themselves, changing booths without saying anything, and being inconsiderate and rude.
If you can deal with the couple downsides, definitely worth eating here.

LB Polly’s service and food has really decreased significantly. Today my husband and I had breakfast and it was bad. There was one server, when I say ‘in a rush’, short of running, I mean it. As we ordered, he was so in a rush we almost didn’t get in details of our full order, and yes, his irritation was obvious. When he delivered our drinks, he dropped it on our table while rushing to his next task. My husband and I just looked at each other in disbelief. We understood he was the only server and we were patient. Then the food comes. I wished we just left. My country fried steak was way overcooked it was hard. Toast was way cold the butter on it didn’t melt. The one star rating is for the eggs. Everything else was bad. We pay more money for food and it’s so disheartening when these servers or whoever runs its operations can’t maintain good food, good service when met with challenges like staff shortage. I was raised in LB and now live in Norwalk whose Polly’s location is excellent. We were in the neighborhood cause we work in LB. I’ve experienced too many misses and heard the same from family and friends for this Polly’s already giving the benefit of a doubt, but we will no longer visit this establishment. Good things do come to an end and this is one of them for us.

Waited to be acknowledged for over 10 minutes at the front desk. Several staff members saw our party and just ignored and walked by. The manager was behind the pie counter and saw us and did nothing. I’m new to the area and was expecting better service. At least at Denny’s down the street (less than half a block away) I was sitting and ordering before I was able to type this review. 1/25/26. I left after been ignored. Will no be coming back.

Old school diner atmosphere with amazing food. The pictures didn’t look great but the meal was delicious and felt homemade. Shoe string fries were crispy, burger was great, pasta was great. The ranch is a must try, it was definitely a house ranch rather than a pre bottled sauce and it was phenomenal. Good menu selection, lots of different pies, and our server was a very nice young man. It was super quiet, not very busy for a week night, and it was super cheap.

I don’t know if they were short staffed or what but the normal excellent service was nowhere to be found. The coffee, which I had to wait for, and when I asked for cream, took so long that my coffee was cold. They weren’t busy. Never checked if I needed more coffee. The food I ordered was mediocre, the toast was almost burnt.
But the pies we ordered to go were delicious. I was looking forward to the food and service I normally get but sorely disappointed.

3 Satisfied People visited Molly’s Pies on a Friday. One had a Bacon mushroom and cheese omelet with extra onions, one had a chicken salad and one had pancakes with coffee! $48 total 16 dollars a person with a booth and excellent and kind and service!

My sister was in town and we decided to try the prime rib and check out the pie selection; the food was generally delicious. However, the waitress that we got was rather brusque in her mannerism, seemed impatient with our questions, and generally didn’t seem to want to serve us. For instance, we asked a few questions about the pies and whether we could buy a whole pie to enjoy at our table; she seemed to think it was a stupid question and just told us no without offering any alternatives. Given that we were the only POC in the restaurant, I couldn’t help but think perhaps this was racially motivated.
Regarding the rudeness, I could understand if the restaurant was packed and she was in a hurry but there were only like 5 other tables that I could see. I would have not liked it but I could tolerate it. The other waitress that helped us was generally nice when we paid to leave but generally the visit was unpleasant and I would not like to visit again. The food is not worth the hostility.

This is a Small Polly’s Pies ! We walked in and waited for a table ! We were not greeted ! It wasn’t packed, only another couple eating at a booth ! Finally a woman asked for just two people ! She was going to seat us in a booth where the Sun would of been in our eyes ! We asked if you could sit in the empty booth with no sun ! She tried seating another couple there as well ! They asked for a different booth ! It was after 3:30pm , but she handed out the special Lunch deals for $11.99 ! She did the same to the other couple ! They weren’t happy that they couldn’t order with the discount , why hand the extra menu ! We ordered the Polly’s Patty Melt with fries & the Turkey club with fries ! It took way too long for our meal to be delivered ! The couple that gave their order after us already had their meal ! We had to ask where our meal was at ? ! The Patty Melt was okay, the beef patty was too raw ! The fries were hot & fresh ! The Turkey club was good ! We had to ask for a refill on our drinks ! Again , it wasn’t packed ! Only two other couple’s ! They didn’t have the normal Pies to choose from very limited to 3 different pies ! It’s a huge NOPE here ! Not coming back due to the Poor service !
