I ate at Pollos y Jarras in Aventura Mall and had a great experience. The customer service was excellent — the staff was attentive and friendly the whole time. The food was very tasty, full of flavor, and well prepared. On top of that, the atmosphere is really nice and fun, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal while shopping. I’d definitely come back again.

We stopped at Pollos & Jarras for lunch after getting off a cruise, and it ended up being one of the best meals in Miami. My kids are usually suspicious of trying new foods, but the manager greeted us so warmly at the door and made us feel welcome, so we decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did because clearly, we had never truly experienced Peruvian food before.

We ordered the Chicharronada Bailable, Pollo a la Brasa, Lomazo on Fire, Anticucho de Corazón Enamorado, and El Chafe Criollazo. Every dish was excellent, and the portions were very generous. The standouts were the Chicharronada Bailable — crispy fried chicken perfectly balanced with a bright vinaigrette — and the Lomazo on Fire, with fire-grilled steaks over fries smothered in an incredible sauce my wife and I can still taste. I also tried the El Cubanero cocktail (rum, guava, lime, honey, and black pepper), which felt like the most “Miami” drink ever — refreshing, energetic, slightly spicy, and strong. I went back for a second without question.

Our waiter, Sebastian, provided quick, attentive service throughout the entire meal and made great suggestions, which made the experience even better.

We loved it so much that we actually came back again for our last dinner before leaving Miami. If you happen to be in the neighborhood, we highly recommend this restaurant for the welcoming staff, fantastic flavors, and memorable dishes.

What a lovely place! We had such a great experience from start to finish. The food is delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and the sushi is truly outstanding. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and I really recommend choosing a table outside to enjoy the lively vibe even more. Overall, a fantastic restaurant that delivers on both taste and experience. Highly recommended!

This restaurant has amazing food & you can order from their sister restaurant, CVI.CHE 105, next door as well. I love that they greet you with a sample of their aguadito soup which you normally don’t find in Peruvian restaurants; & it is so good that my husband gets one full soup as an appetizer and another to go for later. We love their pollo a la brasa and their fries are the most perfect texture. Their causa crocante is delicious and their ceviche clasico is really good too also all their desserts are really good, we’re never disappointed when we come here. My only complaint is that there isn’t one closer within Broward County, also it can be a bit crowded but that is understandable as the place is always packed.

What a fantastic experience! My sisters and I came here for dinner. The service was impeccable from the time we got in the door until we left. The food was delicious. We had the Skirt steak, Asian BBQ ribs and the Wok chicken. We all enjoyed our food.

Our waitress Annya was a gem, very attentive and friendly.

The chicken here is very good. Full of flavor, juicy, and cooked properly. For a mall restaurant, it’s cheap for what you get. About $19 for half a chicken is solid value, especially considering the quality.

Service makes a big difference and Brian was excellent. Courteous, professional, and on top of things. If you have the option, ask to be seated in his section.

Pro tip. You can order ceviche from the restaurant next door. It’s a sister restaurant and the ceviche is excellent. It also saves you time as they tend to be bery busy.

A few things to be aware of. The chicken is very tasty, but it’s marinated with beer, so it is not gluten free in case it matters to you.

Many of the sauces and sides lean spicy, so ask what’s in them if you’re sensitive. The chicken itself is not spicy at all.
The sides could be improved on as are mostly very carb-heavy and there aren’t many lighter or healthier options.

Bottom line. good food, excellent value, and good service when you get the right server. With a better side options, this place would be even better. I’d happily go back for the chicken.
