This is the last time I eat at this concept. The last 3 times have been increasingly disappointing. The cashier didn’t greet, seemed exhausted, and didn’t bother to explain that drinks aren’t included in the combos. The restaurant is aged, the tables are unstable and need replacement. Food is just average – I could cook better at home.
Sad to see that a concept that we used to love is in transit to disappearing – this is something that needs to cascade from corporate.

I ordered a family meal online, my food was ready within 15 minutes. I went to pick it up and one of the Customer service reps handed me my bag which was sealed the food was flavorful and exactly what was shown on the app. I will be buying again. TY

This five star review goes specifically to SAMAYA. She is one of the best workers you will ever find a Pollo tropical. She is super efficient always smiling nice personality friendly she gets the orders together accurately and fast wonderful employee you need more people like her. This lady deserves a race. Absolutely yes management seriously needs to reward. Employees like this because tropical has way way too many sleepy employees thank you

They consistently open later than posted. At the drive-thru, you can be left waiting for about 15 minutes without knowing if anyone is actually there. When you pull up to the window to check, you see an employee counting money who doesn’t even acknowledge you. When service finally begins, there is no apology or even a simple “good morning.”
On top of that, you always have to double-check your order because something is often missing, or the sandwich is not prepared the way it was requested.

How to say going during the day more than at night gives a better feel for the atmosphere service is always generally really good I mean unless someone’s having a bad day then everyone wears that on their face at least I think and the food at Pollo tropical is always extremely good I’m a big fan of the plantains myself but I do have to say one of their dishes I get all the time is the tropical which is on point all the time no matter where you go but it is right near Coral ridge so it’s a perfect location if you’re going to or coming from the movies or leaving from the beach or going to the beach….. I’ve been here several times and honestly it deserves 1 star some of these employees are entirely disrespectful and rude. The last couple of times I’ve been here I’ve ordered something I ALWAYS received the wrong thing. Every SINGLE TIME! I will not return. When I went to get it changed the manager gave me the right thing but with an attitude (made me not wanna even eat it) anyhow this place is bad for business. And it’s happen 1 time too many. Lack of professionalism. I wanted to show them grace but it’s been a mess and always has been this plate looks a hot mess. The one i went to in WPB is sooo much better and at least MAKES their food look decent not thrown around in a plate. I’d rather toss this out and go to another Pollo with dignity and respect!

I just left from this store and I’m honestly very disappointed. I ordered the Pollo Triple with steak, chicken, plantains, and other sides but the food was terrible. My chicken only bones, steak taste like shit and omg the plantains was burned..
I’m a regular customer from pollo stores, so I know how it’s supposed to taste, and this was completely off. The staff were fighting around with each other instead of paying attention to customers, and the service was awful. My food wasn’t flavorful at all, and overall it was a bad experience. Very poor customer service and low quality today.
i recommend Pollo Tropical, but not this location.

Went a few months ago and was not happy with the service. They had just implemented the online (QR code) service even inside the store, so it was not only confusing to a lot of us, but very slow as a result. Food is good, the quality hasn’t changed.
Went back last week just to try it again as i always liked PT, but it was just as weird. This time, tho, they had a person taking orders for those who preferred the old way (like me). As before, the food was good, but this time inflation hit me hard! I couldn’t believe how much the prices had increased! The tiny cup of plain white rice in the picture was nearly $3.50!!!!
This particular PT (don’t know about others) feels like you entered some sort of twilight zone … Weird …
Can’t understand why the owners (or corp, who knows) would let what used to be cozy and inviting become such an impersonal, uninviting place.
Will definitely NOT go again.

Manager should learn how to listen to the customer. I was apologizing for changing my order which wasnt even done yet or payed for and this guy from the back yell something. And I still apologize and she came to void what I change and I said im sorry to her she said what happening in there has nothing to do with you with an attitude. Bruuhh Im apologizing and still got an attitude. Cashier was very nice though

I’m posting this due to the fact that I did not get what I asked for. It happens every once in a while and it’s not the biggest problem in the world rather an inconvenience. What is the biggest problem in the world is that when I called the store I was going to turn around and go back but I could not get a hold of the store! The call went to a customer service line. It took me almost 15 minutes to accomplish what I needed to get done just to inform them that I had not gotten what I asked for. I don’t believe we’re in a time where we should have to count on a machine to sort out a problem that has to do with a specific location when it’s such a simple resolution. Therefore I’m giving this low review not for the service because the people that are wonderful and nice the food is always good. I’m giving a bad review because if you do have a problem you can’t call a human being, you get a machine to handle your situation which I think is just lazy cheap and uncalled for. I guess the hospitality business is no longer the hospitality business just a computerized food vending machine.
