Excellent food, fresh! Went at 11 am, no liquor till 12 on Sundays which is fine! The only thing I didn’t like was the gratuity was already added into the bill. I almost tipped twice. So always check bill before paying!

normally don’t leave bad reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I ordered a rotisserie chicken, and it was completely over-seasoned—so salty and heavily spiced that it was almost inedible. It tasted nothing like a proper rotisserie, more like a spice overload.
To make matters worse, I was charged twice on my ATM card. I only made one purchase, yet two charges appeared on my account. That’s not just an inconvenience—it’s unprofessional and unfair. I tried reaching out to resolve the double charge but haven’t received any help yet.
This was a bad experience both in taste and service. I won’t be returning unless something is done to make it right.

Very yummy, authentic food in an easily accessible area of Lawrence. The outside signage has been updated and is welcoming. The inside is tight but manageable. The only downsides were: 1) it took forever for us to get our check (over 35 minutes from the point of placing our dishes at the table edge to signify that were were good to go) and 2) if you want to order to go, there is literally zero signs to tell you what the food options are in front of you.
Definitely worth a stop by and be sure to get the pork belly and ripe plantains! Out of this world.

First time at this restaurant. A hole in the wall. Food was great, to say the least. I had the arroz blanco with habichuela accompanied by Rabo (oxtail) and a Morir Soñando. The portions were more than you can expect. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the environment was nice with some good music. Only down side about this place was the minimal and tight parking. Aside from that 10/10 experience.

One of my GO-TO Spanish restaurants while in the Lawrence area. Food is always Delicious! I wish they had bilingual English/Spanish speaking staff because communication and ordering can be difficult but I’ve learned through the years to just Point at what I want and put up my finger(s) for how many scoops I’d like.
Our last visit we tried to ‘Dine In’ but didn’t see a waitress and couldn’t figure out how to order because there was a sign in English that said the line I typically use for the ‘Point & Shoot’ ordering was for Take Out only so we ended up just taking our food to go like we usually do but we’re so hungry we ended up eating in our vehicle! Not the easiest thing to do with Rice spilling all over and meats that could get grease/sauces all over. Mess or not, it was Definitely worth it!

If you want authentic, fresh, hot and fast Dominican food this place is great. Most of the food is already cooked and on the line so you can see what you’re ordering right in front of you. Everything is very fresh and nice and hot. Parking is a little tight but other than that this place is really good
