My wife and I frequent this establishment quite a bit for breakfast. The owner; Jose and staff are the best. The food is great! I always have the huevos rancheros. Wife will order the pancake w pecans and loaded w fresh fruit and whipped cream or she will have the breakfast gordita. Food is excellent. Side note: as i was reading some of these low reviews, seems as people just want to vent; take it out on a great family owned mexican restaurant. No one is perfect and we have our good days and bad. So if something was forgotten or you didnt get 3 eggs per taco, be patient and considerate and they will make it right.

I work at the daycare just up the street from here, so I often come during my lunch break and I absolutely loovvveee their food!! I started by just getting a California burrito, and it is DELICIOUS!!! I tried their burger with jalapeños and it was also VERY delicious!! Everything is soooo well priced for good quality food! And the workers are so so kind! Highly recommend!!!

The tortillas weren’t either cooked all the way or a different receipe?
The chorizo was absolutely awful.

Amazing authentic food. Best breakfast in town. Great prices. Me and my wife eat here every other weekend. Owners and staff are wonderful, attentive, and great hosts. Restaurant is very clean and cozy.

Ordered 3 bacon egg and extra cheese tacos. The employee was fantastic, the food was hot and fast, however there was barely any egg or cheese. I paid for bacon egg and extra cheese and that is definitely not what I got. Wanted a new place to eat but it’s a no for me.

Best Mexican food in Live Oak! I’ve made several visits recently and only regret not trying them sooner. Perfect enchiladas, beans, and rice. Lean, delicious carne guisada. Breakfast tacos made just right. Expertly made tortillas. I’m telling you they have it all! Those Jalisco restaurants ain’t giving you the quality you deserve! Visit Pollo Picosito instead!!!
