It’s Friday and finally had a chance to get some Pollito at their New Victorville location after work!
The building looks nice & really like the chicken on top of it to celebrate the grand opening, I did go drive thru it was 3pm Friday6th & the outside order taker was really nice, patient and knowledgeable, although busy the line did keep moving, the window cashier seemed like she didn’t want to be there? no matter I was looking towards the fried chicken!
Tried a bit of everything the fried chicken is really good not too crunchy the roasted chicken needed abit of more cooking time but I see why they serve it this way it reminded me of Costco chicken but with more spices.
Yuka fries were good the fried plantains are really good, the campero rice was abit bland but I appreciate it not being salty and understand why is made this way since not everyone can eat it the original way, did not try a spicy chicken sandwich (how will it stack Vs. Chick-fil-A ?) looking forward to it. Overall all 4 stars for now once they work out the kinks it will definitely be a 5 stars location get the fried chicken for sure it’s always good! how will the other chicken competition answer? Better lower those prices because this Campero cowboy chickadee chicken is running the high desert

My first impression was not great- will I go back maybe…because the fried chicken was good. We ordered an 8 pc meal with fries, rice and rolls @ $38.00. Side items were ok, The fried chicken was good- I’ll make my own sides next time. I gave this store a 3 stars due to the gentlemen in the drive thru Ricardo…he must not been having good day and wasn’t very pleasant. As my first time, I wanted my chicken half roasted and half fried- this was around 4:45pm (wanted to try both). He stated that the wait for the roasted would be half hour. I’m in the drive thru and was not going to wait half hour. When I got to the window, I asked him why the roasted chicken was not an item ready and available for dinner time…he just said “NO”. I asked why, and he was very short with me…stating “most people don’t order the roasted chicken”. I found that strange considering they sell chicken. So if you want roasted chicken I suggest you order it online, as they wont have it ready for pick up. He also didn’t give me my receipt. Would I come again, maybe…if I try it again and if I have a better experience I will change my review.

The food was tasty overall. We didn’t try their sandwiches, but we did have the fried chicken, which was really good. It reminded me a lot of the fried chicken from Knott’s Berry Farm; the place outside the park, if you’ve ever had that. The flan was also delicious and a great way to finish the meal. The staff was very kind and friendly. Good management.

Love this location. Been coming here for my lunch break since they’ve opened up. I always receive great customer service every time I come in and order. Great selection of chicken and sides. The manager Daisy always greets the customers when they walk in. Amazing customer service

The employees are very nice and helpful. They keep it clean inside. The food was decent but not greatest. It actually messed up my stomach afterwards. The family portions seem smaller than pollo loco. I would definitely stick to Pollo Loco. you get more at Pollo loco for the same price that I paid here.

As a Guatemalan obviously I love pollo campero, but honestly this is the worst one I’ve been to! My fries missing my rice missing my beans missing?? Like do you guys not check before handing things out and when I went back all I got was attitude if you hate working fast food don’t apply simple as that and the portion size for the chicken is outrageous there so tiny if you go to campero in orange county the pieces are way bigger !

I was extremely excited to try a new chicken spot here in Victorville, however this wasn’t the service I was intending. My girlfriend and I ordered to go for our first time here and thought we checked for everything because that is what we always do at every fast food spot however as we got home we realized one of our sides of French fries was missing. I called and was directed to someone from pollo camperos team, he said I may go and pick up the fries no problem so I decided to eat before I went back, the fried chicken is great but when I went back it seemed as if they were acting like I was trying to get free fries, the cashier and manager didn’t even acknowledge that they messed up instead the cashier laughs in my face as I am leaving the store, the fries were cold and stale not even worth going back for honestly , I rather just go to raising canes where I know the services will be top notch. Just sharing my personal experience so these owners are aware.

I ordered an eight piece meal and wanted half half fried and half roasted they didn’t have the roasted ordered Yucca fries sweet plantains half rolls and half tortillas didn’t get the rolls or the tortillas ordered an empanada and Campo Nuggets nine nuggets for $10.90 that’s more than a dollar for a quarter sized nugget the chicken was cooked in old grease and was very very greasy and overcooked. The empanada was tasty but it was cold. First time I’ve ever been to Pollo Campero and I probably won’t go back. Very very disappointing.

Cashier’s are very friendly, food came out fast and warm, like the idea of them serving in plates it’s different from most fast food restaurants, facility very clean, restroom also. It does get busy weekends and afternoons but shows that the food is good specially that it is a Latin American own company brings a lot of memories for ppl.
