This is the first time I’ve bought chicken here. It didn’t seem fully cooked, and the breading was very salty. I specifically asked if they could give me thigh and leg, as shown in the flyer, but they only gave me breast and wing. I ordered three orders of three pieces each, and all three were the same. I realized this when I got home. It was absolutely disgusting and it’s going in the trash, I would have much preferred McDonald’s. Here is a picture of what I ordered and what I received.

I am very disappointed with the service tonight.
Everything was going well and I was treated very nicely by the lady at the register who took my order.
A few items like fries and coleslaw seemed to have run out and I was unable to order them, but I didn’t really mind as that wasn’t as big of an issue. I was hungry and what mattered was that there was fried chicken.
The moment I sat down I started seeing faults pretty much everywhere. Firstly, the floor under my table was sticky and I could see napkins across the floor in other areas. There were some flies on the windows, and I mean inside the restaurant. The table itself shifted and nearly toppled at the smallest movement.
The food tasted great, that I cannot complain about.
What really disheartened me, though, was finding a deep-fried hair strand sticking out of the crust of a chicken breast I was served. I have attached a photograph to showcase this lack of hygiene and care.
When I took my plate to the front register, I asked for the manager and another kind lady called her for me.
The manager looked at my food and even took out the hair strand to reveal that it was quite longer than how it first appeared as it was encrusted deeply within the chicken. She appropriately apologized and asked me if I would like to have my food replaced with a duplicate of the order.
When I declined, and instead asked if I could get a refund, the manager reiterated that she could not do that and once again offered a duplicate of the order.
I told her not to worry and thanked her for her time.
Once again, I feel deeply disappointed by the unprofessional and unhygienic turn of events that made this originally 5/5 experience quickly turn into a 1 star review. If I could leave a 0, I would.
I understand that sometimes company policy might not allow refunds in fast food, but offering another duplicate of an order seems nonsensical and quite disrespectful when you have already broken the costumer’s trust by leaving a hair inside their food.
The people at the register are not at fault. This is an issue stemmed from those who operated the deep friers and one that was further exacerbated by the manager.
I won’t tell people NOT to go to this place, because the food tastes good, but please be wary of what you are ingesting. This location has already compromised their health standards.

Went through drive thru the food was very good. The chicken was seasoned well. The grilled chicken was seasoned under the skin too adding extra flavor. The fries were also good. I’d definitely go back.

Going in I was apprehensive because I don’t like Mexican food/spices. My friend ordered their food a week ago, and it looked good, so I thought we would give it a try.
We had checked out the menu/website before we went in, so we would have an idea of what’s available. My wife is on a diet and is a little more picky when it comes to food. So, we needed to make sure they had grilled chicken before going in, and their website confirmed it. We also saw they had kids meals, which will come into play later.
We walked into the restaurant and looked at the menu they had posted. We didn’t see any kids meals listed, and we didn’t want to hold up the line, so we decided to site down and try to order from the app.
The app was helpful for having the kids meal, but it was NOT helpful for ordering grilled chicken. We couldn’t find that option anywhere on the app!
Thankfully, while we were looking at the app, one of the employees came up and asked if we had ordered yet. Having encountered the problem finding grilled chicken, we decided to go up to the counter after all (there was no line at this point).
I wouldn’t normally point this out, but to counter another review on here, the employees we interacted with spoke and understood English perfectly well. The employee that approached us was the one working the counter, and she was very helpful.
I ordered the spicy sandwich; my wife got the 3pc grilled chicken; and we got the chicken nugget kids meal for our child.
The food came out quick, and was temperature hot. I would say my spicy sandwich was spicy but not HOT spicy. It didn’t hit you right away, but built up a little bit as you went. It never got too hot for me (and I’m a lightweight). It was good, and I will definitely get it again.
The grilled chicken was good, and my wife enjoyed it. The chicken nuggets were very good! Would recommend them!
The fries were decent and the mac & cheese was really good.

I recently tried their food as take out at our work. I liked the taste and crunchiness of the fried chicken. The Mac and Cheese was good. I also tried a specialty drink I can not pronounce but it was good as well. I brought my wife in to dine and the lady at the register was friendly. My wife and I enjoyed our meal. Thanks for good food and great service.

The food was not fresh. Chicken was dry and the sauce they give you is terrible.The fries were worse than the chicken at least a couple hours old and cold. Now to the beans you literally can’t eat then. They taste like chili beans out of a can that have been sitting for a couple days.The prices are ridiculous high for what you get and it all sucks. $17.29 for the meal with 2 sides. If you are up for an overpriced fast food meal that is terrible then this is your place. Oh you better go pretty quick there was one 2 people in the joint at 6pm and that is counting me. They won’t be in business long unless something happens but I think the damage is done.

The chicken is good but the sides and drinks didn’t taste good at all. The girl at the drive through window was very ride and rushing me while no one was behind me. I didn’t make more than 3 minutes to order but she must have been in a rush. Won’t be going back thanks to the bad service.

I was hesitant to give this place a try due to reviews, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I suppose they might’ve had opening pains and it has been awhile since opening.
We absolutely loved everything about Pollo Campero. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. We had a spicy chicken sandwich (not that spicy I added Cholula which they have a bottle of on every table) with yuca fries, chicken nuggets (best nuggets I’ve ever tasted, fresh white meat) with Mac and cheese (delicious), the Campero bowl (also delicious and HUGE with fresh ingredients) and a side order of plantains which were also amazing.
Only complaint was the yuca fries were cold and I could’ve asked for more but they were still tasty.
Going back to try some fried legs, breasts, thighs and wings soon!

Wow that chicken was awesome!! The plantains are a great option for a side! The food was cooked perfectly, and that was the fastest I’ve ever gotten through a drive through. Ill stop by here next chance I get!!
