God bless Oscar the manager, he is super friendly and kind. And the food is amazing! The empanadas are cheesy and crispy. They’re chicken and chicken sandwiches is better than Popeyes. And the Yuca fries is a delicacy. 10/10. Love this place. Thank you for your kindness Oscar!

Whenever we go to Costco, we are always looking for where to have lunch and usually just go home and eat something, since it is difficult finding something quick but tastes good. We decided to give this place a try and were very happy. The chicken was very moist and the flavoring was just right. We got the grilled chicken instead of fried. It seems fried chicken is more popular, since almost everyone was eating that. The sides were good as well. We got the rice, French fries, plantains, and mac and cheese. We also ended up buying some to take home for the rest of the family. The fact that they have grilled chicken as an option is great. Look forward to going here again next time we are in the area. Only negative is the parking in the back is limited and street parking seems to be challenging.

This was our first time coming here but let me tell you, it was delicious! We had an amazing meal and everything was great. My wife is from Guatemala, so she had high hopes for this place being that it’s originally from Guatemala. When we went to Guatemala, we tried a Pollo Campero over there, and it tastes exactly the same! The chicken is fresh and very tasty. The flavor is great and the chicken is cooked to perfection. Their Horchata and Mango juice are one of a kind. They taste so tropical and very good. The fries are not so greasy and are a perfect side to accompany the chicken. Their empanadas are also delicious and the perfect size. The plantains were nice and sweet and their Mac & cheese was very good. The chicken sandwich was amazing and had plenty of flavor. The Pollo Campero sauce is a must have with any meal. It tastes amazing and is great for dipping your chicken or fries. The yuca fries were very good and very crunchy. We enjoyed the food from here and can’t wait to come back again soon.

Pollo Campero: A Flavor Explosion Worth Every Bite

If you’re looking for bold, crave-worthy flavor that hits all the right notes, Pollo Campero is where your fried chicken dreams come true.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the irresistible aroma of perfectly seasoned chicken—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and marinated to absolute perfection. This isn’t your average fast food fried chicken—this is Latin-style soul food that brings heat, heart, and heritage to every bite.

The Campero Fried Chicken is the star of the show—golden, crunchy, and packed with flavor you can’t find anywhere else. Prefer something a little lighter? The Grilled Chicken is just as satisfying, juicy with a smokey char that tastes like it came straight off an abuela’s backyard grill.

But don’t sleep on the sides! From the zesty yuca fries to the comforting Campero rice, every dish feels like it was made with love. Pair it with a refreshing horchata or tamarindo drink and you’ve got yourself a meal that’s both comfort food and culinary adventure.

What really sets Pollo Campero apart is its roots—it’s more than just a meal, it’s a bite of culture. Every visit feels like a celebration of Latin American flavor and family tradition.

Bottom line: If you haven’t tried Pollo Campero yet, you’re seriously missing out. Go for the chicken, stay for the flavor, and come back because it’s just that good.

One of the oldest in area but better than some newer locations. Long Island was worst. Only issue here is it being a slip hazard. Improper mopped floors

The chicken is not fresh. Tasty like refried and hard texture. But the personal is polite and kind.

3/20/22 So we been to this place several times and i have to say service just gets worse every time, they are always rude to you to the point that you don’t feel welcomed , we have always dine in and portions are usually decent size’s,this time we got it to go and it seems like they give us the left overs pretty much,so unfortunate maybe next time will be better if not we might have to find a new location

We stopped at this Pollo Campero while driving through, and honestly, it was the worst we’ve ever had. We’re regulars at the RI location and usually love Campero, but this place? Total letdown. The food was off, and the overall experience just didn’t match the standard we’re used to. No clue how this location is still open. Definitely not going back.
