This place is super nice. The people is really sweet and helpful. Was my first time and they were really helpful they explained to me with patience. I will 100% recommend this place the chicken is super flavorful and the sides like sweet plantains are delicious.

The staff are amazing and kind. The atmosphere of the location is dull nothing very special to draw your attention. It will be nice if they added outlets to charge your phone as well. As far as the food it’s okay. Not the best. My meal was 3 empanadas and yuca fries and a medium fountain drink. Total was $12.89 so it’s alright I guess. The yuca fries were tasteless no seasoning or anything, the empanadas shell was crunchy it was good but the inside wasn’t that great. They give you a bbq sauce but it has no taste either.

Alright, so I had to hop over to Jersey from the city ’cause I kept hearing about this Pollo Campero spot. Let me tell you, it was worth the trip. This ain’t your average fried chicken joint. The Campero Fried is next level – crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. Had to try the grilled too, and it was just as good, maybe even better if you’re into that smoky flavor.
But what really sealed the deal for me were the sides. Forget boring fries, we’re talking yuca fries and sweet plantains, the real deal. And you gotta get the horchata, it’s the perfect drink to cool you down.
The vibe inside is lively, you can tell it’s a spot where families and friends get together. And the crew working there? Super friendly and on top of their game, even when it’s packed. I’ll be back, no doubt. This place is a gem.

I’m extremely disappointed with this location. This is the third time I’ve placed an order, and every single time something is missing. I always schedule my pick-up 45–50 minutes ahead to give them plenty of time, yet the order is still wrong.
It’s frustrating to get home and realize that items I paid for are not in the bag. At this point, it honestly feels like they don’t even bother to double-check anything before handing out the orders.
The food itself is good, but the service and attention to detail are consistently poor. Management seriously needs to address this problem.
And to anyone planning to order from this location: make sure you check your entire order before leaving. Trust me — something will almost certainly be missing.

This was my first time trying Pollo Campero with my Guatemalan friends. I know it’s not as good as in Guatemala, but I thought it was really delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the Campero Mac and cheese and the yuca fries were so good. Also the horchata was perfect! 🙂

Pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. I got the chicken empanadas. They were crispy, well filled, and seasoned. Also got a side of rice which was good.
The little condiments they give you have a great flavor and mild kick to them which was super yummy in the rice.
