I asked the cashier(s) if they served quesabirria tacos on weekends, since a similar restaurant on Lafayette and 37th St does. There seemed to be confusion with cashiers and cook discussing whether they could do that; but they eventually decided that they could sell me one quesabirria taco for $5.44. The restaurant was quite busy, and I had to wait awhile; but eventually I was given one soft taco, overstuffed with birria stew-meat, and with a couple cups of green and red hot sauce. I was expecting birria dipping consomé, but I think I had no reason for complaint, with the generous amount of good stewed meat provided on the taco.
Despite my Spanish being less than sufficient for fluent communication, the workers here seemed very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was a bit crowded with take-out orders, but not a lot of seating; although I managed to find a chair at a booth near the back, and to eat inside.
Some food items are posted on the walls and counters with their prices; but it would have been nice if I had seen a printed menu somewhere.

When in today 7-24-22 to get an order of chicharrones and the lady taking the order was all too happy to make fun of me ordering. She even called another lady over as well to enjoy her joke.
