Love this restaurant! Brenda the owner is the sweetest woman, the staff is very friendly, making you feel like family at every visit. The food is delicious with generous portions. If you’re looking for that nostalgic feel, at a place you are always welcomed, then Mel’s is for you. I have never been dissatisfied with their food.

We love the antiques and decor. The food is comfort home style. Large portions and served with warm service. Small town dinner appeal. Food like Grandma made. Best biscuits and gravy around.

Been there twice for breakfast and was told they were out of gravy both times. How do you run out of sausage gravy during breakfast? Service is ok but with nobody in the restaurant it should be.

Mel’s 50’s Diner is just that: a 1950’s-themed American diner. Good food, good service, and a bunch of guys sitting and talking. I enjoyed a very pleasant Monday morning breakfast (Western omelet – $7)

I absolutely love this diner. It’s small, quiet and their car collection is awesome. But above all, the food is amazing. I love having the chatter platter! Perfect place to have a nice breakfast, or lunch without spending a lot of money.

What a great place to eat! When in the area will diffentely go back. I had breakfast and the hash browns were down perfectly, onions cooked in the potatoes not on top, and the eggs and bacon were cooked the way I asked for. The view inside is setup as old drive-in style, with nostalgic items to view as you enjoy your food.ENJOY, I DID!!!!
