Located at the head of the Columbia Trail, we serve homemade comfort food on our own bread. We make soups, sandwiches, and ice cream. We serve breakfast all day and we always stock a variety of baked goods, many of which are gluten free. There’s plenty of free parking across the street at Borough Commons.

Every now and then you come across a place that is super special in so many way. The Polka Dot Cafe is one of those places. While walking down main street, the smell of the fresh bacon just lures you in. You are warmly greeted by Christina and her staff. Everything on the menu is homemade, except the Hot Dogs. Everything is made from Scratch and if you peek into the kitchen area, you can see thats the case. Christina does it all. She embraces the community with all kinds of local features in the dining area each month. Local artists present their creations for all to enjoy. Even makes her own ice cream. The burnt orange was amazing. I cannot wait to go back again witb a whole gang of foodies to this throw Back hidden gem. Thank you. You made my day.

Five stars aren’t enough! This place is lovely, the food was homemade and delicious and there’s gluten free options. The owner was super friendly and very careful to cook the gluten free sandwich in another pan. We also tried the scone with some tea and it was absolutely marvellous. The whole place has a very cosy vibe that made it feel like home, and the owner does all the work by herself, which is impressive. If we ever go back to High Bridge, we will totally visit again!

We stopped by this cafe after a bike ride, and we had a lovely chat with the owner and her coworker! The cafe is so adorable, they make the most delicious HOMEMADE ice cream and baked goods. It was just so warm and welcoming in there, I am so excited to go back here!

I frequently eat at Polka Dot Cafe. She includes gluten free options, and her gf baked goods are delicious! Her gf cookies cost no more than her regular cookies. Same as the gf scones and gf soup. The place is known especially for the quality the homemade ice cream and uniqueness of the flavors. Also, the homemade beer bread & rolls, which utilizes spent whole grains from the brewery down the street. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, with a vintage, small hometown feeling. A friendly, comfy, yummy experience.

We loved our time at the cafe! The owner is an amazing and very kind woman. We enjoyed our conversations with her and really admire how the cafe is a home for the local crafting community. It feels like coming home to Grandma’s kitchen

Polka Dot Cafe doesn’t just nourish your body, it feeds your soul. Hands-down my favorite stop every time I go for a run on the Columbia trail in High Bridge. The owner Christina makes everything on the menu fresh in-house and you can absolutely taste the difference! This is the most magical place to grab a bite, it is an experience you won’t want to rush… Adorable little fairy houses, figurines, teacups and polka dot decor create an inviting, quaint charm, while your food is prepared with love. I HIGHLY recommend the bacon grilled cheese!

The place is so cute! You can sit inside or outside and they also have a little section with maps and tourist information! They have some things to purchase like post cards and tea towels and vintage playing cards and many more things! The food is really, really good! The desserts are also amazing including the home made ice cream! They even home some glutten free options! We did not even know it was glutten free until after we ate it! It was the perfect lunch spot after an hour biking the Columbia trail!

This cafe is adorable and cozy. There are many items you can admire inside and buy if you like. The vibe of the place is fun and warm. My toddler had so much fun looking at the decor items in the cafe. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks are also good. I had a chicken salad sandwich, chocolate chip cookie, and coffee.

Stopped in for ice cream after bike riding on the Columbia Trail on a super hot day, and enjoyed wonderful hospitality and delicious homemade ice cream. Consumed the entire “tub for two” while sitting out front and reading my book. Cute cafe with a nice menu. I will be back!

We were out hiking and stopped by the Polka Dot Cafe afterwards. This cafe is adorable and the owner is so sweet. We bought a loaf of her home made bread and it’s so delicious we may make the drive back just to buy it again.
