This is the ORIGINAL Polito’s!! The location in my town closed, and I’ve been CRAVING their Mac & Cheese Pizza. While in Point recently I was excited to be able to get it! Located downtown. Cute area. Parallel parking in front of the store, left side on Main St. Angled parking stalls on the right. No issues finding parking on a Thurs at 8pm. Pizza by the (big) slice. Full pies also available. After you select the variety you want (prob 10 – 12 kinds to choose from) they’ll bake it a few more minutes to get it melty and crispy! We each got 2 slices, ate one, and took a slice home. Garlic Knots were good (4 are a half order). We each ate one and took one home. Had 2 large sodas. $24 pre tip: 2 people (4 servings total with leftovers). Service was easy going and friendly. We asked for a soda refill, and the young lady was pleasant. Staff was cleaning tables, emptying trash and tidying up as we were there. The beverage cooler had been restocked while we were eating. Our table had been cleaned before we sat down. Polito’s is consistently tasty, affordable pizza, that’s pretty much “fast food” because there’s very little wait time. It’s a great option!

I visited here about 10 years ago and it was great, but I don’t think they cleaned since then.
We ordered and sat down…dead flies everywhere.
So we moved to another table..same thing, and smeared up greasy tables. Ugh.. so I requested the pizza to go, so we could go eat somewhere else. We got our pizza and left…I ordered a gluten free pizza because my daughter can’t have wheat…we open the pizza box and there were macaronis on it.. I’m assuming they are so sloppy in the kitchen that stuff just goes anywhere..we order the pizza uncut too…so that was $24 dollars wasted for a 10 inch pizza.. because not only was it cross contaminated with wheat, that place was so dirty it should be shut down, we couldn’t eat the pizza after a bite..so gross…do better…I can’t believe this restaurant would pass an inspection!!!! Stevens Point location.. and it wasn’t even busy…

Reminded us of an “old school” pizza joint! The pizza was really good. They have all different kinds that you can get by the slice. I tried pepperoni and chicken bacon ranch. Hubs tried cheese and Supreme. I didn’t love the chicken one, but thats because I didn’t like the ranch for sauce. I love red sauce, but I thought I would give it a try. I love the crust and the red sauce. I can’t wait to go back and try plain cheese and the garlic knots.
I also tried a cannoli, yum! They fill them upon order so the shell is crunchy. The filling was the perfect sweetness. A good cannoli is hard to find in the midwest!
I took a star off for atmosphere because it could use a good dusting of the photos and memorabilia on the wall. I loved looking at the pictures though! Also, the bathroom could use a good scrubbing.

I called will a 911 Hangry order. The guy was wonder taking my order. Told him I couldn’t be there until 4:45 for pick up. He said ” no problem it will be ready when you get here.” It was and perfect when I got home to the hungry crew.

GREAT tasting Pizza!! BIG slices, lots of cheese and toppings! Garlic Cheesy Bread also delicious. Employees friendly, kind, and respectful, answered any questions we had. Definitely will order or eat-in again!!

Lady was extremely rude right from the start. Then overcharged me for the meal by 30$. Once I questioned her about it she got even more rude. I’ve come to this place many times and this time it put a bad taste in my mouth. Threw the number at me then when I asked about getting a mellow yellow she rudely yelled we don’t have mellow yellow and pointed at the sign. All while rolling her eyes and never making eye contact while shifting her hips abruptly with attitude and a heavy sigh.

Out of all of the college town pizzerias, I will definitely put this place on my top list of pizza joints. A lively crowd comes in late after two from the club. However if you don’t mind the fun and excitement of seeing that, this is the place for you.
