Although it’s set in a small town, this place is a gem. The pastries are absolutely delicious, and the coffee is great too. The bread looks fresh and tempting. The bakery has a charming Polish aesthetic, with artwork and paintings inspired by Polish culture. There’s also a cozy seating area where I ended up chatting with some strangers about dogs haha. The staff were super friendly and even gave us free butter for our dog!

Saw the sign advertising pierogi night on Wednesdays. Did not disappoint!! They offered 3 different flavors and an assortment of toppings. The indoor seating area is very cozy. Feels like you’re sitting in your living room! I also bought a blueberry pie…off the chart yummy! Im going back to buy some frozen pierogi!

Great local bakery in Lancaster with a large selection of baked goods. Also specializing in Polish baked goods, kolaches, pierogi and coffee. Can’t say enough about the selection and friendly staff

The bakery is very quaint, offers a varied selection of baked goods and drinks and everything is extremely fresh. The service is very good. My only complaint was that I ordered a guava cream cheese pop tart and was never asked if I wanted it warmed or not. I was under the assumption that it would have been warmed since most of the items were warmed. Don’t get me wrong-it was delicious but it would have been amazing warmed and melt I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area!

Delicious pastries! Get here early on the weekend for best selection. Large, cozy, indoor seating area, and outdoor tables as well. Love this place.

I said the bread looks amazing and the owner said it is. Pretty confident. I must say the bread and pizza is spectacular. They lived up to their talk. Will definitely come back. The crust on the pizza is crunchy and tastes great.

We enjoyed a cinnamon roll and a pumpkin muffin when we visited. The muffin was very good but the cinnamon roll was the star of the show. I believe we got a fairly fresh roll which may have amplified the magic. The roll was tender with a great filling and the glaze was delicious. The only way to make it better would be to have a cream cheese frosting but that is personal preference. We would definitely come back!

Oh my! This place was hands down amazing! Probably the best baked goods in the state.

Food: so delicious! Every bit my kids took you could hear the.. mmmm it’s so yummy. I felt like we ordered the entire menu because we just wanted to try it all. what we did order was the breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese. The dijonaise they made is a perfect touch to this. Even better when you add bacon to it. The bread is extremely soft and perfect for this sandwich to be between.

The blueberry muffin was packed with delicious blueberries. This one was a huge hit with me son since blueberry muffins are his favorite thing to eat.

The chocolate croissant was good too but if you’ve been to a proper French bakery you’ll notice the difference between Polish and French styles. Pan Au Chocolat.

The strawberry dojs… something was amazing!! I can’t pronounce it and can’t remember how to spell it but all four of us were loving it.

I don’t know how this places gets rave reviews. We visited this past Saturday morning and was not at all impressed. I ordered a pumpkin muffin and received a blueberry. It was difficult to tell them apart in the case (or maybe they were all out of pumpkin?) so I can understand the error. I like both so ate it anyway, and it was good but nothing to write home about. The iced pumpkin spice chai latte was devoid of pumpkin flavor – just tasted like a regular iced latte. Again, good but nothing special. My son said the Kolache was good and my daughter said the chocolate croissant was very average. But the bulk of the 2-star review centers on the hot matcha latte – it was downright NASTY. She’s had matcha numerous times, and this was undrinkable. I tried a sip and it tasted like matcha powder and water, with no improvement no matter how much you stirred it. Just powdery grit suspended in water. Some friends went the following morning (reluctantly, based on our review, but The Granite Grind was closed across the street) and reported the same with the hot cocoa – Undrinkable powder and water. I don’t know who is making beverages on the weekend, but they need a serious retraining. I try to support local businesses like this, but if I wanted a below average experience my money would have been better spent at Dunkins.
