This review is based off two different occasions. First time I tried it, a few coworkers and I decided to order and have it delivered to our job. We were blown away by how good it was! I ordered the aloha poke bowl with an extra order of rice. I obsessed over how good it was so much that I had my husband take me for lunch a few days later. This time we went inside and ordered at the counter. The staff was “friendly” and she made our food very quickly. The inside was empty but clean. There was a slight unpleasant smell but I was not sure what it could have been. This time I got the Hawaiian Sunset poke bowl with no crab and my husband got the hot chicken burrito. Unfortunately, I did not care for my bowl and it confused me because I loved the previous one. The flavors were just okay and without the kick of the spicy mayo, I was underwhelmed. My obsession ended right away. Glad we tried it but we wont be back.

I’ve been ordering from the location for over a year and always order takeout. I usually put in the notes “extra sauce if possible.” I’m not sure if someone was having a bad day or what, but as you can tell by the photo, the entire bottom of my bowl was nothing but yum yum sauce. It was practically inedible it was so soaked.

This has been one of my favorite spots to get fresh and delicious Poke bowls in the area. I’ve been going here for many years. Last time I went the food was wonderful. The location is clean and the staff are friendly. This time was different. There was something off with the taste of the rice. The bowls were smaller and food portions given were a lot smaller. The prices were the same for less food. The freshness wasn’t as apparent either. I am sad that it is not the same anymore.

This is my favorite poke spot in KC! Ingredients are always fresh, service is fast, and the people are kind. The seating area is clean and simple- with a relaxing atmosphere. I’ve tried the Salmon Oasis and Hawaiian Sunset bowls, love them both! Pass-o-guava nectar is my favorite

I’ve been to this restaurant many times and never had an issue until my most recent visit. I ordered a sushi burrito with tuna, spicy salmon, and shrimp. After eating only half of it, I became violently ill immediately, vomiting and later experiencing diarrhea, which strongly suggests foodborne illness, likely from the raw fish. I contacted the restaurant the next morning and was told a manager would follow up.
When I came in later that same day for the refund, the manager was extremely nonchalant and offered no apology or concern for my health. I was treated as if I were trying to get a free meal, despite the fact that I couldn’t even finish half of the burrito. I paid nearly $20 for the meal, yet was only refunded $17.45, with the explanation that tax is not refunded, which makes no sense, as a full refund would have been issued had I paid by card.
Overall, I got sick from the food and was then dismissed and treated poorly by management. This experience was disappointing, unprofessional. Definitely won’t be coming back anymore.

Probably my favorite poke place in town. I had the rain of fire bowl, and it was very good. Took the wife, who doesn’t like fish, here and they have a chicken option. She made her own with soya, mangos, corn, and a few other bits. If you like poke, or want to try poke, try this place, you won’t be disappointed. If you don’t know what poke is… (It’s basically a whole bowl of sushi.) try this place.

What a cute spot! I love the inside, it seems very cozy and warm. Every time I come, the food is great, the service is wonderful, price is good too! I can’t wait to drag my friends here!
My recommendations: chickpeas! I love me some chickpeas!
Also, there’s a man I see everytime I come in…I’m pretty sure he’s my future husband

The Rain on Fire bowl is delicious. I was initially concerned with the heat level given the *generous* amount of jalapeno and sriracha together, but the peppers were mostly seedless (thankfully). The other ingredients really cut the heat and balance the flavor. Great taste overall.

My favorite poke spot in the kc metro, I have never had a bad meal here and i’ve been coming here for years. The ingredients are always fresh and they are the only place i’ve seen to offer spicy salmon. The offering of toppings is my favorite of any place i’ve tried and they are generous in putting them in your bowl. I always feel like I get my moneys worth here and you can’t always say that about poke places. I always build my own bowl but if you’re new to poke you could try one of the pre-decided bowls on the menu.

Delicious food! Their boba was well-made and you could also pick how sweet you wanted your boba. Sweet, bitter, or a happy medium. The staff and workers were extremely polite and friendly. The hygiene of the place is good as well. As an overall review, I am definitely going back to this place to try their mochi ice cream!
