I ordered 2 poke bowls, spring rolls, and a spicy tuna sushi roll for takeout from them. I requested that one of the bowls be made with salad as the base and added avocado (+$2), sweet corn, seaweed salad, and others listed as options through their website. After getting home (~20 min drive), opening the bag, and looking at my order, the salad bowl did not have any of the add-ons I selected, but they were listed on my order’s receipt. I was so sad, and the salad bowl (compared to the rice bowl) was not filling as it was missing substance.
The sesame dressing for the spring rolls was delicious, and the sushi roll was also tasty. Next time, I’ll make sure to review my order at the store right at the restaurant to ensure everything is correct.

Be careful when ordering online. Staff was rushing a forgot many items in our bowls. Workers are complaining they want to go home while we were eating. “Sweet sesame tofu” is just raw tofu cut from the block.

This was my first Time visiting poke sushi. Allison and Victor were absolutely amazing! Allison was super thorough on explaining how everything works because we had never been there before Victor made amazing sushi rolls. We had the Ahi tuna Bowl Which was outstanding highly recommend this place to anybody who has an inkling for sushi they also had a nice selection of cooked foods as well. This will be my first of many trips. Great job Allison and Victor.! Thank you for your hospitality! They didn’t have an option for 10 stars, but I would absolutely give you 10 stars!

Presentation very nice. Spring rolls and Kani salad were great. I got the Spicy Salmon Avocado roll for i guess what you would call the main. It had a little too much avocado not enough salmon for my liking. UPDATE: i put the roll on ice and broke out some soy sauce i had later today and it leveled up the flavor. If they offer soy sauce it’s a definite must.

Although new in town, Poke Sushi has quickly become a favorite. They have a variety of both cooked and uncooked sushi rolls, and a selection of poke bowls from angry tuna to teriyaki chicken (including a make-your-own option). My personal favorite is the mandarin chicken bowl- it’s loaded with fresh veggies, orange chicken, rice, edamame and mandarin oranges. While seating inside is limited, it’s also a great place to grab takeout for an easy, healthy dinner.

The food was good but while my husband and daughter’s bowls were made to order, several of the toppings I ordered were missing (including some that were present in their bowls so I know they weren’t just out of the ingredients). We’ll try again, hoping it was just a busy/off night.

Ever since this business opened in spring 2024, I have been eating here regularly. I found out about the restaurant when my friend got a job there, and encouraged me to try the food! I don’t eat seafood however there are a variety of options on the menu, including chicken, but also plenty of vegetarian options! Not only is the sushi top quality, but the poke bowls are the perfect balance of vegetables, rice, and protein! Everything tastes fresh and organic, and it is incredibly well priced! A roll of sushi is only about $9 and I believe the bowls are around $9.50! The people are so kind, welcoming, and bring a wonderful energy to the space. Speaking of the space, it is always clean, I have never once walked in and seen the restaurant dirty, it is always in tip-top shape. Please do yourself a favor and go dine at Poke Sushi Vernon.
