Fried chicken poke bowl?! Yes, please. I tried, loved and recommend both the fried and grilled chicken poke bowls. The marinade on the grilled chicken was delicious and makes my mouth water as I reminisce about it now. Great addition to Oakland. Tasty food, inviting space, and friendly staff.

Wonderful spot in Oakland. One of the last few restaurants in the financial area. Hope they stick around.

Came here for the sushi burrito, ordered the ahi tuna with avocado. It tasted just fine. I didn’t get sick from it. But they have a topping – deep fried garlic flakes, the staff said this is fresh, they just made it today. So I said ok, added some to my burrito. Then when I was eating it, there were some really hard small tiny bits that I couldn’t chew. I thought I chipped my tooth. Guess what? those were the fried garlic flakes, to be specific, those are the ending area of the garlic cloves. On top of that, I agreed with another post. The burrito is very tiny. If you need a good portion lunch. Don’t order the burrito.

Do not come here, just based on how my body reacted to their sushi burrito with ahi tuna, i would say its a safety hazard.
I really wanted to throw up.
Do you know how infuriating that is?
Also the guy rolling the burrito did it very half as, rice wasnt spread out evenly, lopsided portions.
If i had anything good to say about this place is that the Price/Portion ratio is good, not that it matters as it sucks.
Im 100% certain the protein they have there is not fresh, not even close

Go somewhere else for your safety and health.

1st, I had a bad diarrhea after eating here and it’s most likely from the raw fish being not fresh enough. I never have this type of diarrhea eating at other poke places. The taste is just very average, nothing special either.
2nd, the location is not safe. So be careful.
3rd, parking is also very hard to find and don’t leave anything in your car.

I don’t eat seafood so Poke for me has historically been, Tofu with rice and some other stuff. However, I love coming here and getting the veggie bowl for a lot of reasons. First, they know what they are doing. I always get a huge portion and it is delicious. Everything is super fresh, sauces are great and its overall just a great value.

Couple that with top of the line service every single time and you’ve got a winner!!

This place is great! The quality and freshness of ingredients, the generosity of portions, and the flavors will make me come back. The portions were so generous, I might split a large with someone in the future instead of attempting to finish it all myself. The staff were super kind and really fast! (I showed up early and my food was already ready! Granted, I don’t think they were really busy when I ordered.) So happy there is a solid poke place in Uptown. Grab a bowl and eat by the lake.

It’s the only seemingly healthy place that I can get food from during my lunch break in this part of Oakland. They’re quick with preparing the bowls. You also get A LOT of food crammed into one bowl. I was satisfied and full without feeling bloated.

The employees here are very polite and helpful under the new management, and their service is the fastest I’ve seen! There was also plenty of seats outside.

This place is so convenient and easy take out. Literally right down the street from me 2 blocks down from my job. I’ve given this place a tried many time and like alway my order came through. Noticed it was pretty busy today. A huge line out the door. I did had to wait a little over wait time then normal. Where I was used to go in and order my food and be done.

Given this place a 5 stars! My reason behind it. The proteins are fresh and so many varieties of veggies choices. To bad no more boba. I’m a regular. If you’re in for something fast and fresh give this location a try.
