Lots of poke places in Madison. This is a really good one. Small and a simple interior. Family run husband wife team. Lots of choices or build your own which is what I did. Prepared fast. Highly recommend

This is the best poke in Madison. The portions are huge, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The fish is fresh and I have never felt weary about eating the raw fish here. I love that you write on the ticket to build your own bowl!! The owners are so kind, one even got me a glass of water when I ate there and didn’t buy a drink. I love supporting them!!

Always fresh, always happy!
Get the piece of paper, circle the ingredients you like and aprox 5 minutes later the bowl is ready.
They even have some Jappanese drinks which is a nice touch.

Very small hole in the wall location. $5 and under is cash only, otherwise they take card. The sizes seem very fair for the price. It looks kind of older and a little run down. You have to seat yourself and get a little menu to fill out, then you go pay. There is no music here, you just hear the air-conditioning running.
The food was filling and not fishy for Midwest sushi. They forgot one of my toppings but otherwise it was really great food. You won’t leave hungry if you pick the right size. I would recommend visiting this location.

We used the online ordering and picked up. First time ordering from here. The bowls are stunning to look at. They tasted absolutely delicious. We’ve ordered from a few other places and this is definitely our favorite new place. Quick service. Bag was waiting on a table in front of the counter. You have to pay in the store. Big thumbs up.

This place is my go-to spot for poke near campus! I love the salmon with yellowtail poke, various toppings, and eel sauce. Their fish is pretty fresh (especially the salmon). I would say the serving size is pretty generous! It’s about ~$15 for a regular size poke bowl (two scoops of fish).

072124_I had to return to my favorite Poké joint in Madison! I walked in and I saw a nice looking bowl being made, so I said I’ll take one of that! The chef said you can have this one and gave it to me within 20 seconds of my stepping into the restaurant! Apparently, it was a phone order and nobody was there to pick it up.
So, No. 9 Osaka Bowl will be featured in many happy memories of Madison and I can’t wait to go back!
