Visiting from Belgium.
This place is awesome and I am so glad we stumbled across it. A bit hidden, kind of. I went to take a picture of the artwork on the wall and saw the sign. We love poke so we decided to check it out. Win.
We went two times. Mostly because we wanted to try the gray whale gin he said he was getting in the next day but also because our first experience was awesome. Second experience was just as good and the gin was great. Hard to find good gin in the states.
Friendly speedy service. Outdoor seating with fans and covering to keep you cool. The poke bowls were tasty and filling. Loved the pink glitter.
Definitely coming back next time we are around. Highly recommend.

Nice little outdoor patio with full bar, sake, and a food menu. Loved the drink special. Nice cute bar and tables to sit at and relax. This is located behind aqua, you can go to the right side of the building where the mural is and walk down the pathway. Love it will be back to try some poke.

We where out walking around and saw the sign on the street “Poke in the Rear” I thought it was so cute because it’s in the rear of the building.. haha. I got The Maya and it was amazing! I also had some Sake.. yum. I didn’t use the bathroom so I missed out on seeing it but will definitely add it to my must see list next time I’m down!

I absolutely love poké bowls so I wanted to try this place. Wasn’t disappointed. All the ingredients were very fresh and the sake was awesome. I’m usually not a fan of sake but this one didn’t disappoint. The poké bowl had the right amount of spicy to feel it but not enough to make it taste bad. I tried the green tea cheese cake too and that didn’t disappoint. The man working there was very helpful with any questions we had. I’d highly recommend

Great dinner tonight at Poke in the Rear. Nice Japanese craft beer to start. It was really good, much better than the sound of sweet potato being in the brew. The Poke was awesome…. One of us had shrimp and one had a tuna/salmon combo. And the cake dessert, with that moist cake and fabulous crunchy side crust was divine. We’ll be back.

This place came highly recommended so decided to give it a try. It’s a little hidden and tucked away behind a building on Duval street, with a sign pointing to an alleyway that leads to an outdoor seating area. You place your order at the window counter and when your order is ready, your name is called. I had Elle’s Poke’s On Fire and it was FIRE! Fresh ingredients and perfect portions.

I started with a refreshing Rear Juice. The glitter was a surprise, but this refreshing COCKtail will surely cool you off.
I had the Elle’s Poke on Fire (only tuna because salmon isn’t my jam) and all I can say is omg. This was phenomenal and a must on the to do list. Tucked away, as the name alludes. 10/10 would recommend.
