I typically love Poke Bowl, at least the other locations. But, the Riverbank location is not only disgusting, but it is potentially a health hazard.
The Riverbank location has not been open all that long (About a year) and from the looks of things, it hasn’t been really cleaned since opening.
1st, the soda machine had some moldy glob dripping from the Pepsi option. The DR. Pepper had some crust around the nozzle. (See pics)
The restroom door handle area is dingy and likely has never been wiped down. I doubt the restroom door knob is ADA compliant. (See pics)
At least 2 tables were so wobbly I thought kids must have had a WWE style fight and busted them up. (See pics)
Finally, there is no functional central AC. Instead you get a large evaporative cooler blowing moist air around. It’s warm and humid are probably not the best climate for raw fish.
If you like to live dangerously, eat at your own risk!

New location currently in Riverbank plaza.
Friendly staff. Portions are fairly big currently, maybe since it’s new. They recently added boba tea drinks as of today and had a small discount on them.
Food is a bit lacking currently. Crab Rangoons lack filling. Fish isn’t the most fresh. Crab salad lacks creaminess or something to add flavor to it. Boba drinks have a good taste but the boba itself is a bit undercooked.
Rating for staff would be a 5 for friendliness and positivity.
Rating for the food would probably be a 3.
Overall probably a 3.5 for now but hopes for improvement as it is still new store.

I used to love it here but lately or maybe depending on the time the fish will be slimy, flies landing on it too… I would love it again if it were cleaner and the fish wasn’t slimy and flies were exterminated. I’ll will now be going to pokemoto, it was much cleaner.

Ordered on a delivery app and will never order from here again. Our bowls had less than 5 pieces of fish in them when they should have been 2 scoops each. I know the economy is bad rn but don’t steal from paying customers to save a few cents worth of fish. Now you’ve lost a customer for life because you decided to try to screw us over on a mobile order. When we did come here in person, the portions were reasonable and expected and the kids working here were very nice so what a way to mess that up.

The best Boba in town by far! The slush is intense in favor and the Boba and lynchee has great taste too! I usually go to the one on McHenry but nvm. Pokebowl looks good too except the salmon looked a bit frozen along order.

I recently visited Poke Bowl on a weekday afternoon while returning from a work trip. In a hurry, I placed an online order ahead of time. When I arrived, there was no one behind the counter, but I saw my order sitting out, unrefrigerated, even though it had been ready for a while.
Given that Poke Bowl primarily serves raw fish, I expected them to refrigerate orders until pickup. I waited for several minutes, talking loudly enough for any staff to hear. Eventually, I found and rang a bell on the counter. After waiting a bit longer with no response, I rang the bell again. Finally, after nearly 10 to 15 minutes, someone emerged from the back to hand me my food.
To my surprise, the person who had been sitting in the dining area the entire time wasn’t a customer but an employee, who had seen me waiting and did nothing to assist. This lack of attention to customers was disappointing, but more concerning was the improper food handling.
Overall, my experience at Poke Bowl was disappointing. The poor customer service and lack of proper food handling mean I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to others

This location is the worst, their protein portions are ridiculous, one “scoop” of shrimp is 3 pieces of shrimp…..
when the employee did I looked at him and said “thats a scoop?” He just said “yeah anything else?” LOL this isn’t the first time they do this so that’s why, the only location where they are so greedy with the portions. Modesto locations are a lot better.

Today, i’ve made my first trip to this plaza after moving to Riverbank. As I was walking to my car.I saw above a refreshing image.So I decided to enter the pokebowl.
The first thing that caught my attention when I walked in was the way the staff greeted me. Since I am very picky on the process , the staff was patient and were walking me through all their drinks.To help me choose the right one, I thought it was very helpful and very kind on their part.
However, there was one thing I was very concerned about when I was paying.I noticed that when I was going to select the tip.The young lady skipped through it and when I asked her I didn’t get the tip.She says we don’t get Tips, I said why not? She mentioned the manager does not give us tips.I was very upset when I heard that.That is the most crucial thing anybody can do is not allow the staff to get Tips, So I went out of my way and gave each girl ten dollars. For the building owner who wants this building, it is not fair for staff not to get tips when they work very hard throughout the day.They work warning shifts and nightshifts and do all the handling preparing the food or making the drinks and it’s very unconsiderate of them to not let them get any tips please help me spread So the staff can start be able to receive tips. Shout out to the young ladies who helped me out today may seventh around around 6-7 pm

The shop just gives good vibes in itself and the service is great and really nice even if you bring your kids they are really nice. The food is all amazing and the Boba is even better I recommend the brown sugar tea Boba because it the perfect amount of sweet and the Boba pearl is just perfect. Over all its my favorite place so basically just the BEST PLACE EVER.

I’m so happy theres a Poke Bowl in Riverbank! I haven’t had Poke in years because there wasn’t one nearby and now I finally was able to have it today. It was really good! Also, the girl who helped me was super nice and super patient when I was choosing my picks for my bowl. Overall, it was a great experience! I’m definitely coming back 🙂
