We’ve only visited this spot twice, since we live out of town, but both times were absolutely delicious. We’ve now tried two of the appetizers, a few meals, and a few kids meals, and everything has been so great! We love the old school classic Southern vibes, friendly service, good prices, and down-home cooking like my grandmother used to make.

Nice restaurant with great food and service. My wife has a shellfish allergy and the staff accommodated us amazingly, the manager let us know that they have 1 fryer for allergy issues which meant my wife could order any food that was fried.our server did an amazing job and was very knowledgeable and respectful. A pleasurable dining experience.

One of the few PoFolk all of which are in this area of the pan handle.
All of them are well worth going to. All are unique in their own way. Have the original poke menu, great food great service and good atmosphere.
This one is the same.
It was a bit more open than many have been to.So it wasn’t quite as homey, but still had all the PoGolk appearance with the signage on the wall.
The food was outstanding and a great price. We ordered the chicken and dumpling meals, and everything was perfect from the main dish, with the vegetables and with a fantastic biscuit.
The only reason it got 4STARS for food is I had to classify the water… definitely, city water and was absolutely horrible.It had a taste to it… yuck.
I know the restaurant has little control over city water, but with water this bad they can afford a filter.
Still, if you’re in the area, I would not bypass this restaurant.
Good country, food, great price, great service.And you can always get the iced tea… it’s made with the same water I’m sure, but as you know, it’s southern iced.Tea and the sugar mask and everything…

Another of the few PoFolks remaining. This one like the others is unique in its own right. Its nit quite as Homey as some if the others, feeling a bit more open inside. But it was still comfortable and clean. And of course, the usual old signage on the walls.
Food was VERY GOOD…. The MINUS 1 STAR is for the Horrible City Water
Though I know they themselves do not control this.They could put a filter inside the restaurant.The water tasted bad and water should not have a taste!
I cannot help to think of this.Would be noticeable in their iced tea and in the fountain drinks.
But possibly not…. just left my I would order a ice key before I ordered water.
The menu is the basic PoFolk Menu of the past…. all the good food and all the great sides and still capable of ordering fried green tomatoes and fried pickles for appetizers. Biscuits were perfect.
Dinner meals are with $8 to $12 dinners. Basic country dinners.

All veggies have pork in them biblically we don’t eat pork, had to resort to only fried food instead. Gravy was soo good! Cornbread tasted like maybe too much cornmeal.

If yer want’n home style food that actually good, this is the place. I love me some liver and they have beef and chicken liver. I ate at one in meridian years ago and it wasn’t near as good as this one in panama city. Everytime I go, it’s packed. Friendly staff and pretty good prices. I will go to explore the rest of the menu. I highly recommend this country food restaurant.

Used to be my favorite place to stop and eat passing thru PCB, but no more.. The appetizers were amazing.. If we would of stopped at that, the rating would be 5/5.. The food was cold, liver was over cooked and tough, but onions were raw and crunchy. We had 2 orders of hush puppies, they delivered one with our meals and told us they ran out and were making more. The one’s they brought with food was hard and very chewy. They had been refried a few times. Couldn’t even chew the outer layer.. We sent them back and told waitress we’d wait on fresh ones, with the remaining order. Skip till the end, she delivered the fresh ones after she gave us our check and we were leaving! Out of 3 meals, no one finished their food, it was not pleasing at all. Waitress didn’t fill drinks or clear appetizer plates until we were on our way out. This is the 2nd time we’ve had a bad experience, won’t be a third..

Came to the restaurant to enjoy a good meal and my husband and I were going to share a glass of tea. Mind you, we do good to drink one glass between the two of us and we ordered 2 meals, and we were told if we both drank out of the glass then they would have to charge us for 2 glasses. Then the server and manager watched us like we were criminals to ensure that my husband didn’t drink out of my glass. We then talked to the manager to voice our concerns because we have been to much better and much more expensive restaurants than PoFolks and have never had that told to us. We will not be back, and we were averaging once a week visit to the restaurant by either eating in or take out.

Terrible 3pm experience. 2 days prior was fine. Difference was 1 terrible employee. Raining & no outside pick-up because ‘they’ won’t let us go outside because of lightning threat. There was NO lightening. So employers can’t deliver outside but customers have to get in the elements to come in to get their order? YGBSM!
After waiting for inside table order for an hour we left. No explanation for delay.NEVER going back. However the take out orders were piling up @ the register.

I had been a loyal customer for many years, up until today. I ordered the Whole Shabang Salad. ($14.99) and plainly requested extra dressing since I was familiar with this salad. Much too my surprise, AFTER the salad was delivered to our table by the manager on duty, she rudely informed me that additional dressing was $2.49 EACH.
No thank you. Amazing to see that loyal customers are lost due to ridiculous upcharges.
