Great food I always go there when I want my fix for bbq beef. Everything was great. I enjoyed the peach cobbler. Just right not too sweet and it doesn’t have that sugar on the crust perfect. if you like some good eating I suggest the brisket love it

Never been. From New Iberia, wanted to try. Getting off the Atchafalaya Bridge it was stop & go & crept & crept. Took a long time cause of that Miss. River Bridge. Finally get to the place & park & see a smashed in door with a rock. Go in, don’t think it is open. See someone and order. Not impressed with anything. The BBQ sauce was dry & should have been done with Jack Miller’s from Opelousas. Baked beans, open a can of Bush’s from Knoxville, TN. Potato salad, No mustard & bits of bell pepper. Cole slaw, get some from Popeye’s.

I ordered the 2 meats platter: chicken and sausage. Usually they ask if you want white or dark meat, and I forgot to mention it…so I was plated a breast and wing. I think it would have been dry regardless, though.
I got the sides of collard greens and potato salad. I nibbled on some of it and threw it away.
My bf ‘s lean brisket sandwich seemed pretty good.

All around good solid BBQ, the meat was tender and warm. The baked beans were awesome and the Mac and Cheese was top notch.
So why only four stars? Because I prefer BBQ that has more of a kick. This was good solid “Q”, I just prefer it spicier.

Definitely hit this spot if you want some savory, smokey BBQ with a sweet and tangy sauce. I got the pulled pork platter with potato salad and baked Mac and cheese.

Its good place to get lunch. Its a BBQ place so lots of meat, and sides like baked veans, patato salad, pulled pork, brisket, and chicken. Its kind of a weird setup. You go to a serving line, and pick your meat. A guy cuts you portion of the meat you choose. You have to serve the sides yourself with ice cream scoops.
They have signs displayed saying that if your self-served portion size is larger than normal you get charged an extra $0.45. I got beans, patato salad, and a small scoop of banana pudding so I did not good charged.
The food tastes good, its not amazing. I asked for pulled pork, and I think I got a brisket by accident.
I would say whatever meat you get, except chicken, get it as a sandwich. There is a giant trough of BBQ sauce so you can soak all the meats with it.

This place is just alright. The chicken didn’t taste that seasoned today. Chicken wasn’t tender. They didn’t have mac and cheese. Plate looked better than it tasted. I did like the 6.99 lunch price.
